It remains to be seen wether the characters we can create are actually from the 23rd century or rather time agents from the future. In the latter case we'd have a nice grandfather paradox on our hooves

K'Mec father is Kotos, a Politician by all accounts and one that is honorable to his position, for example he does not take kick backs or corrupt his position which is typical of politicians, he served only 2 years in the IKE over 60 years ago when he received an injury that kept him from serving further as he was not able to pick up a weapon and use it with any great accuracy any more, but he has adapted his injury towards a new fighting style with the bat'leth. already killed many corrupted politicans and expose many others in his time. He is the leader of a small proud house based at the Ti'goth pass on Qo'nos originally before relocating his house to the first city. Currently Kotos is looking to get on the High council using his daughter who is a member of his house. Kotos is 112 years old.
Kotos father was Ga'tak, a Klingon Captain who died in honorable combat fighting the Romulans in 2298, he was 86 years old. His D7 cruiser was haplessly outmatched by the newer upgrades to the T'liss war birds, he did however destroy 2 of them before his ship and his battlegroup of d12's and k't'inga's were wiped out by an overwhelming romulan presence near the Azure Nebula. Due to his valiant sacrifice, the Klingon forces retaliated against the Romulan build up and routed them thanks to Ga'tak who provided detailed scans of a cloaked station in the area before jettisoning the data in a probe that traveled just inside the nebula broadcasting on a Klingon frequency.
Ga'Tak's father was K'baht, by all accounts one of the most ruthless klingons to of ever served the IKE. a general who killed as many klingons as he has romulans and humans during his time, his diplomatic approach is the bait and switch, he baits his enemies with a promise of friendship and switches it when his enemies guard is down and forces them to accept his unfair terms or executes them. A lot of Klingons in this time fear what K'Baht may do to them, even a few other generals. K'Baht's record of battle is most impressive, his more reliable means of information gathering is torture followed by death for prisoners, any disobedience is met with a disruptor bolt to the face or chest.
In battle his ruthlessness is played out when the federation lost 4 major engagements in a row in 2272 as K'baht completely destroyed any federation ships that were left behind, in addition any weaknesses and K'Baht commits to it with everything, his favored tactic was to probe for a weakness and then force his fleet right into the middle of a federation fleet, his effective command of his forces are just as incredible due to the fear he inspires in anyone under his command. K'Baht died in honorable combat fighting romulans at the age of 146 years old, pretty old for a klingon, however he did not go down without a fight as after his death, he left a device in the middle of a romulan fleet which detonated, taking out 28 romulan ships in one go and seriously crippling 16 others in the process.
K'Mec (23y) - 2387 - still alive.
Kotos (112y) - 2298 - still alive. (born after his fathers death by 3 weeks)
Ga'tak (86y) - 2212 - 2298.
K'Baht (146y) - 2126 - 2272.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
I actually already had one created. So, this expansion kinda messes that up. But I'm definitely willing to re-roll the character for AoY. I'm just hoping that Cryptic increases the character slot cap to accommodate it.

I'm certainly considering it, sure. Not sure an Andorian would be on a human Starfleet crew during that time, though. Possibly more sensible for my Vulcan.
now that we are getting a faction set in the 23rd century have you thought about making a ancestor for your 25th century captain?
I am planning to make one for my Caitian captain who is a level 60 tactical toon perhaps I'll make my new TOS captain a sci
I can't. Klingons and Romulans weren't included in this Homosapiens Club Only Expansion
Jack Emmert: "Starfleet and Klingon. ... So two factions, full PvE content." Al Rivera hates Klingons Star Trek Online: Agents of Jack Emmert All cloaks should be canon.
My main's bio already includes the idea of his family having a strong military background going as far back as the 20th Century, so that might happen. Remains to be seen, of course - I might have a brilliant idea for someone else altogether before then...

I am all set.
to war then.
"It appears we have lost our sex appeal, captain."- Tuvok
If Romulans and Gorn are present and independent then I'll certainly consider making more than one character.
Unless you practiced ancest to become your own grandparent.
I haven't given it any thought yet.
If we're going down that route, it should also be 'an' rather than 'a'.
that would be intresting since they do live longer then humans ^^
Be sure to pass younger you "Grays Sports Almanac" when no one is looking...
