Glitch with uniform/character display

Recently I purchased a couple of uniform packs from the c-store and used them with my characters. On one of my Captains, with the old uniform I had selected a couple of 'kit' items for various slots - upper arm, wrist and waist (belt). I removed these items when I changed the uniform (or so I had thought), but when I return to the game, these items are still displayed. When I go to the modify display, no items are showing as selected for these slots, and they are not visible as part of the uniform. When I leave they tailor display and return to the game, they are still there!

Does anyone know how I can stop these items from being displayed on my character in game?
