So I just bought the fleet version of the Jupiter class carrier and realized that it did not come with the Fleet Coordination Matrix Universal Console. So I looked it up and found out that only the non fleet version has this console. So is there no other way to get this console for my fleet version other than buying another Jupiter? Also, the fleet versions are supposed to be superior to their non fleet counter parts from what I understood but considering the Jupiter lacks the console is it still ultimately better? Am I really not missing out by not having the console? Thanks ahead for anyh input.

However, the C-Store T6 ships not only come with a console, but a ship trait. If you look at your fleet ship's mastery, it only has 4 levels. C-Store T6 have 5, with the 5th being the ship trait unlock. Generally it would be a good idea to get the C-Store version first, level that, then upgrade to the Fleet so that you can have not only the console, but the trait as well.

I don't yet have the jupiter but I'd say that the starship trait and console look pretty good for a ship of that type, most ships you'd boost weapons or sci, with a 3:3 carrier boosting your pets and team is a valid choice. I say this as someone that is considering the fleet vs cstore jupiter right now and in the past has flown the kdf Vo Quv.
The new skill system will provide significant boosts to carrier capts, stack that with elite pets, hangar deck officers, carrier oriented traits and those jupiter cstore toys and it will be like 2010. Which things you invest in is up to you.
Unless you are a min-maxer and just GOTTA have those stats and console slot you really get more out of a C-store ship than a fleet one. Sure, 10% less stats and 1 less console slot but you get the ship unlocked for all your toons in that faction and can decommission it to save dock space and re-claim it for free later. If you decommission a Fleet ship, you'll have to buy it again. (unless they've changed that, and I missed the announcement?)
