and writing something that is different to anyone else is what.. professional, more believable? so he uses the same expression as another, maybe consider the reason why instead of 'that's like so and so'. for instance, why would someone only use 1 word.. maybe expedience, maybe impatience, frustration, anger.. or maybe that's the expression his father used, or his mother, or his brother.. so many plausible reasons for the use of that word in that context from that character, yet you only see a single, solitary, reason why not, and on that single word decide the entire story piece is not worth reading... wow, how totally rude, egotistical and fickle are you?

Temporal Celebrity? Well, I would think that would be Kirk, since he has done most Time travel of all people.

Time travel episodes allow for the possibility of voice casting from every era of Star Trek. That means ST:E and even TOS cast members voices could be heard in future episodes.

“Sounds like we’ll want a word with Daniels on all of this, Ben,” replied Nereda. “He’s had his share of experience dealing with both Vosk and the Builders… more’s the pity, really.”

Sooo... the guy Command is sending is actually Daniels? Or, someone else, and the Pastak crew will seek help from Daniels separately?

When I read the line about the experienced agent I immediately thought of Daniels, but then Daniels is mentioned separately and by name just after that leading me to believe they're talking about two different characters. After reading the blog I'm betting on Daniels and another member of the Enterprise cast.

Ohhh.... Trip. In the novels wasn't his death faked? Maybe a mission where we have to go back in time and insure that he gets recruited as a temporal agent, by faking his death.

Considering all the temporal shenanigans I'm surprised you don't know that "These are the Voyages" never happened. Ever.

Actually that would be a nice part of the character bio that could be plugged into dialogue. A little personalization.

For instance instead of "Make it So" like Picard, and "get it done" like Jellico, my Captain says "Knock it out".

My main does say Come, since he got it from La Forge who got it from Picard.

My second Fed character and my Klingon however say, "WHAT?"

Really, all these comments, & from people who normally excel at being intelligent, & even Sheldon Cooper left one & yet nobody has mentioned the spelling or grammar mistake in the first few lines of the story.

'' It was beautiful in a way, but the display was merely a three-dimensional representation of the sudden and destructive forces unleased on time itself.''

Only a house, building or vehicle can be unleased, but anything else that breaks out is something unleashed. it would be nice to think this was just a spelling mistake, a forgotten letter, but it's probably a case that is sadly growing in the world where people don't know the right word for the context. Context is what makes English stand out from any other language & is part of using the language properly, but also sadly this has happened all over STO & nobody gives a toss. If we don't care about etiquette then we are as lost as fundamentalists.

Well the "25th century guest" can't be my character, or else the description would be "She's p!ssed off and dangerous. She hasn't forgiven us or herself for letting the Na'kuhl homeworld be destroyed, and she's taking their side and says if we won't fix it, she will. She also gave us a warning: If we refuse, and get in her way, she'll consider us responsible for genocide and treat us accordingly. I told her we have technology so far ahead of hers she couldn't possibly stand a chance... she said that's what the Iconians thought too. I'm... actually kinda scared."

Are we playing the same character? Because mine agrees more with the Breen, Tholians and Na'khul than with the others.

Can we get 'temporal celebrity' as an in-game title? :)

Glad to point out the Na'khul messing with time are hardliners... and also things are getting unexpectedly bad. Or were getting bad. Will be getting bad.
    Will-be-having-has-been-getting bad, obviously!

She hasn't forgiven the Tholians for destroying the Na'khul star to begin with, any more than she has the time captain guy for not letting her fix it and not fixing it themselves.

Correct, but the Tholian's in the 28th Century are for completely banning temporal travel and manipulations outright, and are willing to...forcefully enforce that ban. Then you've got the Na'Khul, who only desire their rightful due, and the Breen, who sees time travel as a cowards contrivance, preferring to live and fight in the present, rather than the memory of the past or dreams of the future.

All of which my Captain agrees with wholeheartedly. I imagine with seeing the bare-faced hypocrisy of the Federation at the accords signing is what finally lands the killing blow on her already fading faith in the very nation she fights for.

I think that three Enterprises is about the limit of credibility for this type of affair. Otherwise you have ships whose technology is simply too primitive compared to the top model to contribute. Even Enterprise C was comparably helpless compared to War Incarnation D.

Why is there a STACK of PADDS under her arm? Has information technology regressed in the far future? Why even one PADD? Has network technology also gone to spit? I'm expecting the next scene to include pencils and paper at this rate.

Temporal celebrity title will haven be released last year. This will hasen been announced with the caveats that the titles can only be seen during temporal incursions intersection with other temporal incursions in alternative timelines that have been isolated and orphaned from the main timeline, making all actions in the orphaned steams both impossible and irrelevant. Fortunately this includes the entirety of the STO universe. Unfortunately the titles, like celebrity itself were inherently unstable. Lasting a maximum of 15 minutes.

A BAR though? That's pretty expensive to give you a private communique from your Moogie. A slip, I could understand. I can sit down in the Tower of Commerce for two slips. It's customary to charge a slip to enter someone's house that's normal but a BAR? I can get 1.25 tessipates of land on Bajor for a Bar. Is there a discount for red alerts or hostile aliens? What if everyone is out of Latinum and there's something important to discuss?

I would imagine for encryption purposes and monitoring purposes. Like the hard encoded isolinear rods the Cardassians use.

Also each PADD could be actively updating with their subjects status in the time stream.

PADDs in Star Trek have traditionally been treated much more like individual digital books rather than a kindle or iPAD anyway.

I suddenly have this feeling that we'll be defending these worlds in a PVE queue @ some point

Similarly to Undine Assault, where we protect a world from a Planet Killer, and the planet in question is randomly selected from a "pool" -- Andor, Ferenginar, Gornar, Bajor, etc.
