I've only got one character, so this will be eazy breezy :)

I have no intention of doing this on multiple chars. One is enough. I also join my voice to those who demand this rewards be account wide unlocks. I also wish to use this opportunity to say I demand you make all lockbox/lobi/fleet ships/outfits/gear account wide unlocks. I earned/payed for them one way or another. The queue is one of the more interesting ones so it will be nice to go back to it. It reminds of that deathstar scene from sw . Was that what inspired it?

Can't wait to cripple more fortress ships

I only wish we could get The Breach back as a regular queue as well :/

I mean, we have Crystalline Catastrophe, which is sometimes replaced / "bumped up" to Crystalline Cataclysm. Why not play the same card here? Just curious.

I just hope this isn't as badly timegated as the Mirror Invasion. Hopefully it will be fun. Just not sure is normal the way to go if I want to do it with multiple chars.
Advanced queues will be filled with very badly playing people with ships that shouldn't be running advanced queues.

I'm really looking forward to this event. Once more The Breach will be buzzing with activity. Does the queue remain part of the game after the event has ended or is it going to disappear till the next event?

Yeah, if it will go longer that 10 minutes each run, then... :(

And i do not ever try event queues on advanced... to much risk to fail and loose time.

Not - it go more than 25 minutes on normal first run for me... so much for doing it on all toons...
so much for enjoyable experience :#

Yeah. Not going to do the event with multiple chars. It's easy, not actually too bad, but it took 15 minutes.
Sadly I won't get the card for all of my chars, but that can't be helped.

Just got done running this and all I have to say is no ****ing way am I running this on multiple alts. I may not even bother continuing on the one that just ran it. A truly horrid experience.

One person was AFK the entire time. Lost another person shortly after entering the ship and were down to 4 people on the team. So trying to 3 man this thing (since the AFKer never contributed) even on NORMAL, took close to 25 minutes.

Not a fun queue. I now remember why I didn't like it the first time around, and it's no better now that it's been revamped.

Hate to say it but Cryptic really dropped the ball on this one.

Will try to do this on one toon (hoping for miracle account unlock in future like with Event Ships).
For my alts - no thank you... even with dil and marks rewards. Actually playing normal i can do more than 50k dil in 14 days per toon (the marks are more trouble to get, but still - playing normal missions, other PVEs - its more fun that repeating this thing more than 10 times a day)

Okay. Uh huh. Sure. Do it on multiple characters. Right.

Let me put it this way: I like getting large heaps of dilithium, and I like these special rewards. I even like this mission (though not as much as before)!

I'm still not going to do it on more than one character, 'what if you want to use it on someone else' guilt trips be damned. It simply isn't manageable.

Yeah, I'm limiting myself to my two main toons. Just glad the prize is a ship card and not some piece of equipment.

Well, one thing to consider: So far, these kinds of projects (unlike the Anniversary/Winter/Summer projects) do not disappear when the event is over. So you could start them on each character once, and then complete them over time on characters that you feel could use it.

Of course, that's only of limited use if the next price also looks too awesome to miss. ;)

Honestly, now that I've actually managed to finish the damn thing, I'm beginning to question the wisdom of trying to do it on even one character. Used to be fun on Elite back in the old days, now it's not fun even on Normal. :rage:

I decided that I will finish the event out on this one character, since I already have some progress. However, I absolutely will not be running it on any other alts. Once a day is too much as it is for me. If I'd known ahead of time exactly how this mission would play out, I wouldn't have even run it the once so far. But I did and I hate wasting things so instead of scrapping the event doohickey, I'll finish it out.

I don't really even want to finish THIS event, let alone 'plan ahead' for the next one. I will finish it since maybe, someday, these things may become account unlocks.

As for the Breach event itself, I truly hope this is a one shot deal and that this particular event never sees the light of day again.

The queue can stay for those that enjoy it, but if this thing ever rears it's fugly head again, I won't even bother running it on one alt. Easier and quicker ways to get Dil and marks.

Yeah it looks like about 15 min average. That means 3 characters for me.

It doesnt help that the difficulty of the event is very high, even on Normal. I have two chars that don't have many quality Admiralty Ship cards (both Romulan, I never purchased ships for that race).

In all honesty though they should have a similar setup for Winter and Summer events, except that it rewards just the ship card. No dilithium, no marks, just the ship card. I can accept that.

As someone who's never done this one before, what's the best type of ship to bring in? Cannon loaded escort or sci gravity/rift carrier?

Yup, just did it on 2 toons. That's 40 minutes of my life spent pressing a spacebar gone forever. Back to relaxing by playing Lego Batman 3.

Not going to bother doing this event not for a stupid admiralty card, as far as the missions the breach was one of my favs but hate the fact its only an event now.\

No thanks cryptic im passing , maybe next time add something shinier then a card for your grind fest.

Not impressed, not impressed at all.

It has all the bad qualities that stopped my doing it again after the first time around.

Takes far too long and the rewards are bad, even tied to the event reward.

Will do it on one of my main characters, bit if this is how it is going to be, I am seriously considering just having one character all together....

Hmmmmm.....major event that requires grinding and no real ship to fly as a reward? I'll pass. Nice try.

Just ran a normal with a decent team. 18 mins. I'm passing for definite on this event. The mission takes far to long for far to little reward. Esp to get the Admiralty card reward at the end for all toons on my account. The effort to do this just isn't worth the grind

I hope the mission stays for those that enjoy it but for me its back on my unplayed list
  • bobbydazlersbobbydazlers Member Posts: 4,534 Arc User
found this just as difficult to navigate to get inside the ship without getting snagged on some obstacle and just as difficult to get out without getting killed before I reach safety, thank goodness the event token is not dependant on a good run.
if it wasn't for the event I would not be playing this mission again, sorry.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

This'll be fun in the Odyssey, though I may have to switch to the Defiant for this one
Been there, done that, as long as you know how to pilot you'll be fine.
