Unable to access tribble.

Unrecognized command ""C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Star Trek Online/Star Trek Online/Playtest/GameClient.exe"" (did you mean "-"C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Star Trek Online/Star Trek Online/Playtest/GameClient.exe""?)

After downloading the latest tribble patch it does the above, then promptly dies. Any idea how to correct this?

    Fatal error: Direct3D driver returned error code
    (DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED) while Creating pixel shader. Reason: 0x887a0006 (DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG)

    I would just wait until maintenance and such are done before I get too worried about it. They'll probably fix that up and I'm Mary Queen of Scots!

    Holodeck works fine. Same error happening on tribble though. Sadtimes :(

    perfect time for it to break, when needing to test the new skill system.

    just to say i am getting the same fault :( also to add when the thing finally crashes stays logged in so i have to open my task,aster to close it out completely

    PLEASE Everyone include your Crash Report numbers in this Thread!

    Also there are TWO Bugs listed Already.

    Bug 1: Mislabeled File Error Message (OP)
    Bug 2: DirectX Hang/Crash (Post 2)

    Please Designate if you are receiving one or Both of these issues and include Crash Numbers if you have them. Along with your @Handle

    I would do if the crash reporter worked, it just... crashes. Funtimes.

    I get the error message, then it logs in, and it keeps on saying "Timed Out Connecting to Login Server".

    Yeah it just kinda does a whiteout, then the old do you want to wait for the programme to respond thing. Then it struggles past the cryptic logo onto the new dawn screen where it dies and does the directx error message. Then I do a cri :'(

    I've been getting unrecognized command and the Direct 3D driver error. The same exact error messages. I've been getting that Direct 3D error on the normal server for months and months if I don't put the game in Safe Mode.

    ...report, followed by the Client launching and...

    ...when using the Launcher directly and when starting from within Arc (though I doubt this last bit has any relevance, since they both end up at the same Client).

    [EDIT] After checking, it does appear as if my Client shows Tribble and lacks Redshirt, while the servers and Character Transfer Page show Redshirt and lack Tribble.

    Tested that there and getting the same as sarcasm, only redshirt is showing, no sign of tribble.

    So when do we start running in circles with our arms waving in the air? I have a meeting scheduled for 4pm est and I like to have my panic attacks on schedule.

    Uh...so, I just managed to log in. Got the same error at first, then it logged me in. But all of my characters are gone.

    Thanks trendy but still getting both error messages. Ticket #51676835 for that attempt. Tribble is still not showing on the character transfer page either.

    I jsut got a similar crash on Holodeck after a patch. Both server not letting me play. Time for WoWS or Farmville

    Then it loaded, and all of my characters have been erased. Please tell me there's a way to get that data back. I'm furious.

    FROM THE TRIBBLE NOTES
    • For Tribble only, the test console on Drozana will allow players to obtain blocks of 10,000 Experience Points, as well as Skill Respec Tokens, to help test the system.
      • Also, for the first week this system is available on Tribble, players will need to start a new character and go through the tutorial.
      • After this point, players can go to Drozana and use the test console to obtain free Experience Points.
      • This it to help test the system for feedback and issues found during the leveling process.
      • After a week, we will restore the already transferred characters prior to this update.
    • This system is still a work in progress.

    Okay, so I have a full two hours to freak. That jibes with my books! But the caveat with Tribble did state that a wipe could happen, so there we have it. I'll take this as an opportunity to make a new character and go from step 1 up. Unless something magically happens *wrings hands together*

    Same thing, just without the furious part. Testing is as testing does.

    Characters erased as well.

    Unable to transfer a character now as Tribble does not show up on the transfer page drop down menu.

    Cheers, well that explains why there's no transfer page just now and why mike03uc's toons don't show. Still can't get on though :(

    Okay to anyone who cannot get in, after Trendy di her Magic.

    I launched in Safe Mode, and Reset my Self to DX9. as it seem this patch reverted me to D11.

    Then I saved my Graphics Settings and Relaunched in Normal Mode and I'm back in!
