The new FE, grind and tide; the final reward that drops this week

It's tomorrow's* reward for the FE.

... Which makes me ask, did the OP use time travel to get this card?

*and, by tomorrow, I mean after maintenance today...

    Per character.

Per character, hence Grind and tide as any alt using assers will have to do the FE a lot (I did it 12 times over the last two days myself to prep) o get their Pastak on

As to the item, if you look at the FE rewards now, the reward is accessible already (it seems its tied to calendar, not maintenence)

It's worth doing with my alts to get this card.

Admiralty is WAY too science heavy, especially for a KDF/KDF-ROM. This and the card from the Krenim Science Ship at least help ease the burden a little which is definitely appreciated.

All tomorrow rewards always drop a few hours early BEFORE the update.

Yeah, it's a admirality card. Why is this a big deal? pig-17.gif

Yet we can own a timeship or 5 "from the future"...

Yep, Temporal Instigations is still doing it's thing - you'd think a full-on proper Temporal Investigations Bureau would know exactly how the timestream plays out...

Because remember, for someone this is already history... And a proper investigator would have figured out who, spoke to them, and known that all heck was going into a handbasket - or "fixed" it before heck happened...

Admiralty isn't science heavy most people just don't own any meaningful amount of science ships.

On KDF and Rom side it's pretty much impossible to have "any meaningful amount of science ships", from the faction stores at least. There's the DSDs and one T5 with a fleet variant each. There's lower tier KDF sci ships, but not much help beyond the ignore +/- Sci one due to low stats.

It normal shows up after the update. give it a few hours. Even thought they have moved the update to tomorrow I have faith it will show soon.

Yeah, I've noticed that - whatever type of ships one of my alts is short on, admiralty for them seems <that>-heavy. (ex: my Sci alt, who picked every free Sci ship while leveling.... man, Admiralty is engineering heavy! :) )

MMm federation players.. can smell em a mile away. WHAT science ships on the Romulan/Klingon side? I actually went and bought a Mirror Ha'nom JUST to use the card for admiralty. Was happy to see the Rhode Island as a lvl 10 Federation reward, than got the Krenim sci vessel and the Pastak.

But seriously.. think of someone other than Federation

Just glad it's SCI since every freakin mission seems to demand a lot of it!
KDF and Rommy are screwed in that department.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

I got dragged along as a trash cleaner for a friends doffmarda so I ended up doing all my Grind and Tide Pastak grabbing missions a day or two before the box dropped...its always a good idea to plan ahead with things like that

On a different note... Good taste in your sig, Ferengi.... very classy (and best Decepticon to boot)

Love the Admiralty Ship Thank you need 2 more like that to cover ENG and TAC :)
    • samt1996samt1996 Member Posts: 2,856 Arc User
I own three faction science ships and their corresponding fleet variants. I have no issues running Admiralty. I bought mirror cards and some lobi/lockbox ships now but I didn't need them to complete a full mission cycle every day.

There really is a simple solution, that even a high-school programmer can do. Just reduce the science stuff in the Admiralty missions by 70% on the KDF/Romy side. I mean really, would KDF move a comet? No, we would blow it up! Oh, and a Singularity Core in the Romy Temporal Ship would really work for me as well. Just saying.

i love it when things are assumed so simple. simply put it is not going to happen because it is not as simple as you think. First you have to make entirely separate systems for KDF and Rom which takes time. Second compensate for Roms taking either fed or KDF path again very time consuming and might not actually be feasible. Third make sure the missions arenot as sci intensive/ create new missions easiest out of the three but for reasons 1 and 2 not really feasible. last but not least testing to make sure everything works.

so yea not as simple as ya think.
