Deep Space encounter

I just tried to enter a deep space encounter to test the new Kenim Science Vessel in battle. The one I tried in this instance was "intellegence Failures.' First the res "maw" kept flickering on and off, and, consiquently, so did the button to enter.

I have had problems entering others as they would simply "close down", but this is the first time I have had this issue.
