They wouldn't release everything all at once even if they could, which they can't. It's not even 100% confirmed that we'll get a T6 version (though I certainly would hope so).
They're unlikely to add more than the single hangar bay. Not sure what you mean by 'freighters'... you mean frigates? I don't think the Vesta can load frigates.
T5 Vesta came out a year or so after T5 Odyssey. Assume a similar timeline for T6 versions.
I expect to see a T6 Assault Cruiser (Sovereign/Regent), and maybe even T6 Nebula or Rhode Island science ships, before the T6 Vestas arrive. They can get more money if non-Vesta science ships get released first. And they know it.
Patience. The only thing said about that was Al said "A T6 Vesta at this point is Invitable" on a P1 interview. However that is not a confirmation at all. Mark Rademaker owns the design not cryptic.

I’d like to see it, but who knows if they can get it again. I remember them saying it was hard to get the vesta in the first place and if they didn’t lock in an option for another batch of them back when they first got the 5t. It might be a rather difficult process to get a newer version into the game.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how is this relevant? Cryptic wouldn't be looking to release a 'Vesta,' per se, but a T6 Multi-Mission Science Vessel. They'll inevitably call it something else, and if Rademaker raises a legal stink over it, then it'll be the one T6 upgrade that doesn't allow the previous tier's costume parts. That would suck, but for folks looking to have the ship itself, rather than its costume parts, it won't mean too much.
I would guess that their license to use the Vesta probably allows for updates and modifications to THAT design, though possibly only with Rademaker's approval. They wouldn't be able to use a different design from Rademaker or even seem to without licensing that one as well.
Since we don't know the particulars of the new design or the original contract, it's impossible to say for sure.
The chances of seeing the T6 Rhode Island class first is a lot higher, since there's already precedent for it in the game as an NPC hero ship.

T5 Vesta came out close to a year after the Odyssey. T5 Vesta was released with season 7, which was around October 2012, and the Odyssey was released February 2012. Not quite a year, but close.
Since there aren't any cross faction science ship packs (and the Dyson pack doesn't count, those suck), we'll be waiting a while for a science ship pack.
They had to come out with this pack like the command ships pack last year to make another pack that requires the console from a grind ship to be complete.
Hey, at least the grind ship is a 5 science console science ship with intel seating so hell finally froze over. After 4 years of waiting, I thought I was never going to see a real science ship as a reward.
@lucho80 I think this would have been the prefect time for a cross faction science ship pack to go with the grind ship. Vesta for Feds and equivalents for the RR and KDF so that they can finally have proper science vessels. Instead we got even more command cruisers. Yippy. Because obviously we needed even more command cruisers.
