A suggestion in relation to the crash issues

I apologise for posting yet another thread on this and for it not being a proper bug report per se.
In relation to the crash issues that are being experienced by a wide range of players, perhaps one of the Dev's or Q&A boffins could comment on the situation. I have been trying to help those affected and have suggested various solutions based on similar issues from the wider gaming community but so far a salient solution can't be found.
Please could someone indicate whether this is being investigated and also use the opportunity to let us know what additional information would be of benefit to whomever is doing the investigation. I have been encouraging players to post system specs etc in an effort to identify a common factor but so far there is none. Most threads simply state "the game has crashed", followed by what is essentially useless accusation.
A few of those affected have been encouraged to share specs in order to determine if this is a hardware/driver issue and in some cases this has helped identify what could be related issues but hasn't solved the issue in it's entirety. Again, some info from a Dev or similar involved with this issue would be welcome - it might point someone this side of the monitor in the right direction. (You guys are busy so maybe can't look for similar issues elsewhere - for some of us this is the first thing we do when trying to solve issues)
I appreciate that these are community forums but as seen with Tacofangs etc, Devs can be part of the community too and for every vocal "Devbasher" there are many more that respect those who do come on and interact.
