Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
You folks obviously didn't read the thread awhile back, in which there was a very long and heated discussion about how many over-size starship could fit into the ESD hanger bay.
Look at it's orientation...
I missed it at first also.
(this is my assumption anyway... unless this is in the Starship editor, then all bets are off)

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

Well... I LIVE in the State of Confusion so... WELCOME TO MY STATE!
It's the only state where they tax your brain instead of your wallet.

Wait... did they flip one of the Akiras docked at ESD on its side?
If so... could this be a hint of things to come?
It seems The Nagus is leaving us purposely in the dark about his intended topic.

The State of Confusion is not alone in taxing your brain rather than your wallet. There's the State of Disarray, the State of Madness, the State of New Hampshire...
"Logic is a little tweeting bird chirping in a meadow. Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell BAD." - Spock
I don't know... the State of Euphoria seems pretty light on taxes...
Yeah, but there... one doesn't usually give a TRIBBLE.

It's a picture of the Akira with different nacelles, and the fact the Akira and NX look the same was mentioned way before the game existed, so I don't get what the OP is on about.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Looks like a kitbash alright. I see Akira saucer and struts/center launcher thing, and I think parts from one of the variants...

and in real life, the NX is based on the Akira, just flipped over
I don't really have the desire to dig up the source but it's there.
