Seems I am not worthy to claim a giveaway

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
So, I followed the directions given here https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9739823 went to collect the giveaway and was greeted with this....

I am guessing, since my character is only a Federation Lieutenant Commander, I can't claim a Captain grade ship?

    Sadly so, you need to be the right rank or higher to claim the ship. It's a bit of a pain really. You still have some time, so do Red Alerts and that should level you hopefully. :)

    Red Alerts are for Level 50 only now.

    Some times you have to nab them from the C-Store rather than Requisitions to get it to work. But like others have said: you still have to the proper or higher Rank.

    the give away time is 2days for this reason ,rom's can get the faction ships at levl 30 ...

    soo you dont have other fed toon high level to claim that ship??? becuase when you other fed toon claim that ship is open for you low level toon when become a good level claim the ship

    My KDF-Rom Fleet Admiral claimed both the Klink and Rom ships - not that she can use them, but they're nice for the Admiralty.

    you can create another rom. one fed ally one kdf,get them both quickly to 30 and you get all 3ships or you will be lucky next give away

    Don't sweat it. You'll level past them in a week and everything lower than T5 is only marginally useful for admirality.
