Claiming the new free ships for Jan 30th account wide?

Just a quickie, if claimed by one character on the account, I am assuming they become unlocked, account wide, so lets say I have a character who is only level 25, the T-4 ships will be there when they reach the level for T-4 even if not claimed by that level 25 character today! Just want to make sure.
