The only canon Bajoran worth the time of day was Ro Laren and when that actress opted not to appear in Deep Space Nine, and they inserted Major Kira instead; well, I've never liked her ever since. Same goes for Odo, detest that character too!
Quark and Elim Garak are another matter, both were outstanding characters that enlived each episode that they appeared in. Had it been up to me, a station hull breach during a Cardassian, Dominion or Klingon attack on DS9 would have seen Kira, Odo and Jake Sisko as well getting sucked into space for an immediate death.
I don't have a warm bubbly place in my heart for Bajor (either in ST or STO) but what the hell does that matter? Things can have value and impact irrespective of me liking them or not. Bajor had a profound impact on shaping the style and character of DS9 and Hathon is very well constructed ground map with a wonderful visual style. Nuff said.

Bajor, the one planet where there isn't anything to kill, and no one likes it. Its one of the few places that I like, just for that reason.
Religion is suppose to be written out of Star Trek? Then what about the indoctrination of Federation Regulations. You know those things the Federation never follows, but attempt to force everyone in the galaxy to live by? We have that now, here on earth. We generally refer to it as Socialism, aka Communism. We also have a group of religious nuts that try to force everyone to live by their rules, we call them Muslim Extremists.
The Klingons speak of honor, but do not attempt to force other to follow this path. The Ferengi Speak of the Rules of Acquisition, but do not force others to live by them. The Bajoran's speak of the Prophets, usually loudly, but do not force others to follow them.
Religion and Indoctrination are the same thing. You're just forcing others to live by your rules.
Faith and Belief are holding on to something that is highly important to you, and never letting it go, no matter what.
The Federation has Indoctrination down to an art. They quote the Prime Directive and Regulations at every turn. They force other planets and species to live by them. This makes it a religion of indoctrination, much akin to the Muslim Extremists of our current time.
So which is worse? People who speak of their beliefs, but do not force them on you? Or those that speak of their beliefs, while attempting to force you to live by them?
I don't like Bajor because of the mission - of Bajor. Which is just a series of really boring quests. I also find it ridiculous how all these junior officers are telling my Admiral what to do. I should be able to tell them to do all the menial tasks they are telling me to do.
Kobali'd refers to the Kobali who bring new life to a dead corpse. How it is pertanint here is that you responded to a Thread which hadn't had a post in over thirty days. You responded after about eight months. It is against Forum rules to do so. Now all sorts of people are responding when they shouldn't (including me).

I've no doubt that this remark would elicit a chuckle from me, if I understood the context?
