STO team, please extend anniversary event since DDoS made it unplayable for some captains.

yesterday, we had a break, now today, we barely see or play since today "hotfix" patch.
now it is crashing NWO and CO at same time.

lot of players have alts and want to run those captain alts, and now they are not able to play all their alts, crashing had limited thier log on times by waiting.

Um... hate to play Devil's Advocate here, but you really only need to play a single character to get the ship unlock. You get the ship, its an account unlock. So unless you're trying to alt farm Omega, which I don't see how that is actually efficient, there really is no reason to character hop.

Unless you have multiple characters and last years project slotted and you want to get both done- in which case for some every single day matters.

But hey, how could anyone else be starving; you have a sandwich.

If you have last year's slotted, then yes, you would need to character hop to that one. HOWEVER, that is still not enough to warrant demands as it is only Day 2 and the DDoS Prick doesn't shut down Cryptic all day. Just be patient and check back later. You'll be able to get the daily in. If it was unplayable for an extended period, such as half the day, then they might consider it. But with how long we usually get hit when DDoS Prick goes at Neverwinter... Its not enough to warrent that consideration.

The fact is the service has either been inoperable or for many inaccessible for days because of problems that, get this, aren't our fault.

They could at least be generous instead of what basically amounts to "waste a lot of time".

My time is valuable and being told after hours yesterday of trying to find a map that wasn't bugged, to basically try again tomorrow - that's not acceptable.

If they don't think my time is important enough to fix a problem they either made or refuse to fix, I have no problem walking away.

You get 400 Q thingies for doing the mission. 40 q thingies for the daily. You only need 16 days of dailies, They are giving you a month. A MONTH! And if you really push it, you can get it done in 8 days.

There, now you too have a sandwich. Stop crying "DOOOOOOOOM" on the second day of something.

it was mostly for new episode series, Time and Tide. only need it once a week for consoles. i dont farm those omega particals.
i heard it take 240-260 to make an upgrade? i have few of those omega from last year, and i barely did a few for research & developments, but no time, i play neverwinter more often.

You do know that if you slotted the Omega Mission yesterday you can finish it today and immediately get another, run that and turn it in. Finished SB 39 from yesterday, turned it in, got another Omega Mission, did that, and turned that in.

Right on schedule.

I was just going to say that, after I found out the mission was bugged Thursday I just slotted the mission on the three characters I wanted to use for this event, one for the ship and all three for the Omega Upgrade Kits.
completed all three missions on Friday after the update as well as re slotting and completing the missions with the three characters for a second time so I didn't miss out.

that's the best part of these event cooldown timers, they run from the time you take the mission rather then the time you finish the mission, taken together with the 20hr cooldown itself and the length of the event there is virtually no reason for missing out on rewards in these events.
