Romulan Allied Fed toon Can not change Regirstry on Fed Ships

I was just trying to help somone on the forums in this post http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1210655/how-do-you-re-register-a-ship-rename-the-registry-number and came across his problem and figured i report it here
When your A Federation allied romulan And have a federation Ship you can't rename the Regeristy Number of that ship "NCC - 0000000"
The only thing you can change is the name

As you can see, there is no option to rename the regeristy number on federation allied romulan toons that have federation ships

You can't fly T6 Fed ships as a Romulan. So I guess you can't change their registry either, because what for?​​

But why should I be blocked from changing the registry number on my lower tier ships, like Galaxy-class ships? Also, why would I be able to buy the NX registry in the C-store if I can't use it? They should at least bar me from buying the NX registry, as they do with T6 Federation ships in the C-Store.

You mean you can't use NX on Fed characters? I'd say that'd be a bug. On Roms? Working as intended.

Why you can buy it while being logged on a Rom? No idea. No one thought any Rom would even want to use it, so they didn't block it? ::shrug::

And why some registries can be change and some not? "Because so". Maybe it's a bug too, maybe depends on some limitations of ships, maybe no one thought anyone would care, I don't know...​​
