Klingon Ship Upgrades

So i've been away a couple years and came back and heard all about the T5-U so i thought i would finally give it a try but i cant seem to find the upgrade button. I have 3 tier 5 ships the Vo'Quv the Qin and the Hegh'ta none of which show an upgrade button while i am using the ship selector. I have an upgrade token in my inventory so what am i missing? did i just happen to buy the only klingon ships that can not be upgradeable?

    Umm, those are all T4 ships not T5. Vo'Quv has a fleet T5 version that can be upgraded to T5U I think

    some ships aren't upgradeable - the ships you mentioned aren't.
    If I get it right: Zen ships are upgradeable - as are fleet versions of non-zen ships
    so fleet voquv' should be upgradeable, normal one isn't

    At least that's what it's like for the Romulan Ha'nom
    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
    KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
    all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
    all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982
