What would be the 2016 Anniversary Ship?

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
In 2011...STO gave nothing but just the Benevolent BeQuest event for some free goodies.
In 2012 STO gave out the Odyssey Class (Federation) or the Bortas Class (KDF) ship.
In 2013 STO rewarded the Support Cruiser Retrofit (Ambassador) and some new uniforms.
In 2014 STO gave out the Dyson Science Destroyer (Federation Solanae Class KDF Nov Class and Rom Aves Class)
In 2015 it was the Kobali Samsar Cruiser

What is coming for 2016??? Speculations dictates a Temporal T6 destroyer or something else?dino1-1.gif​​

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    How about a colorful email thanking us for playing the game. You list is just the tip of the iceberg of all the fre stuff Cryptic has given us over the year s. They even sent me a free t-shirt once.

    Not sure if they would do a re-do for the Oddy since they offered it already.

    Perhaps will be that temporal mirror Dread in a basic form with an election to buy a C store later on. Most of the time Cryptic do sell those anniversary ships in the C store to make money on them. I would be surprised if they don't. monkey-28.gif​​

    I'm still holding out hope for 3 faction specific ships (like they did with the Dyson ships). Though if I had to guess, it won't be. It'll probably be some alien ship that has to do with the new FE that they release with it. Then they'll release three faction specific 3-packs that are share a set of some kind with something from the free ship.

    I'll also venture a guess that they'll be releasing a new specialization to go with these new ships. The free one will have a lieutenant commander hybrid station, while the 3-pack ships will have a commander and lieutenant station.
    (Bonus guess is that this new specialization is temporal based.)

    No idea what the ship will be, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's some timeship. I doubt it will be a Federation/Romulan/Klingon ship though as it would be only temporarily available so something that isn't too similar to faction ships is more likely.

    Can't say I'm really interested in having another ship btw. I already have so many, I'd be happy with something small like a combat pet or even a shuttle.

    I'm expecting faction specific ships because of all the Trek anniversaries this year.

    T6 flagship are a slight possibility although I'd be shocked. Hopefully another science ship.

    The ship this year has moving parts all the time. It is a spinning telephone booth that has Star Trek sticker slapped on side of it. There will be a disclaimer that no other science fiction production ever produced this kind of spinning telephone booth and that a starfleet time travelling doctor is piloting it is just a coincidence if anything.

    Did you read the last blog 'Suspicions'? Noyes, I believe is, through whatever secret stuff he is doing, is remembering Claudia, is angry, and is going to do something with altering the timeline to get her back. Could the Anniversary Featured Episode have us discover and try to stop his plans?

    I would not mind seeing a science timeship, that is in the vain of the advanced research ship line, maybe as the ship Noyes is using to recreate a timeline Claudia is in to bring her back; Though i could also see getting a ship time-wise of either the Na'kuhl race or from the Lukari (well i would love to see also getting a boff of either of these races too).

    In more seriousness, given this 'season' is about the terran invasion.... a Mirror ship would fit and be fun. And since they've never been seen on screen, maybe t6 mirror tal shiar adapted destroyers!! :D

    Some of you may not be interested in a ship but keep in mind those of us who have not been playing as long as the rest of you. We would like to have something cool as a thank you for playing. I would love that mirror dreadnaught temporal ship, it looks so awesome

    I just want a skin option for T6 cruisers to make them look like a TOS constitution. We know PBS won't give us a TOS T6 Constitution (though players want it, and many of the Devs said it would sell big time when I asked their opinion regarding it), so at least give us an option skin for T6 cruisers (like Excelsior skins for the new T6 Resolute has).

    I'd also like a Borg probe ship or sphere. :)
