The game freezes about at the count of 40 on the loading screen between maps anywhere but more often happens in system space in Earth Space Dock and Deep Space 9. The cursor can be moved but otherwise the game is frozen and won't progress to the next screen. I run my game in full screen and I can't minimize the screen but I can only close the game and I get a menu prompt that allows me to wait or to close the game. I can leave it wait for up to 30 minutes and it will not load properly.
This is a photo screen shot of the freeze. You can't see the cursor but it is there and movable even if you can't do anything else.
