Ridiculous initial load times after patching.

This started with the latest season patch.

I'm used to waiting a longer-than-normal period of time for the game to load after patches, especially the larger ones, however now after EVERY WEEKLY PATCH the game takes 15mins (or more) to load, sometimes it even times out and crashes and I have to reload in order to finally get in. Not sure where this issue came from, but it is certainly frustrating.

Anyone else experiencing the same? Possible solutions? Would launching through Arc help?

And before anyone goes blaming my system I'm running a MSI Leopard... Core I7/GTX950M.

    I have that all the time. I usually kill the Process two or three times and reload and then it will load. Also, if I let the initial load to Character Select run its course and do other things when I come back, now the Character Select Screen has timed out and you're back to entering your Account name and password (Account Name is back to scrambled one).
