I fly only the Fleet Equivalent ships available in the 9 packs.

I don't believe in buying a ship twice.

At this point in my gameplay I am currently trying to get as many ship traits as possible. I have several toons that have around 6-7 traits, and several that have just 2 or 3.
Up until ships traits I usually played the same ship for a couple months at a time. On my main engy I have to say the Galaxy was my most longterm ship, especially since the updates. My main Tactical I used the Armitage for several months and still love that ship. My main science, I have to say the Nebula was my favorite ship. For my Romulans I haven't really found a "favorite" mainly because up until the delta event I only had one romulan, now I have 3, 2 of which I play often, I am hopping around from ship to ship because many of the Romulan ships are surprisingly good, once I get the setup nailed down.

To the question about only ONE more ship I'd have to say its the T6 Nebula. Although I've been playing since open Beta I only in the last year decided to embrace very sciencey builds on my science characters. It does take some extra thinking for the build because of the 3/3 layout and lack of engy consoles that I am so used too, but once I get a build nailed down, many of the current science ships are very good. I holding out hope that at some point in the future Cryptic will do a T6 Nebula and I will be buying it happily.

With the current meta of ship traits I believe that changing ships once I hit lvl 5 will continue for quite some time. Having 12 characters and owning all but a few ingame ships allows me the freedom to fly different ships on all my toons. I am a variety loving person, and although I do have favorites its definitely nice to switch it up once in a while. With that being said I have to go prep my Romulan Delta recruit for a new ship!! WOOHOOO

I am hoping, (cross fingers:P ) that by February I will be enough ahead grind wise that I will be able to step away forever from logging in the other 9 toons.. (enough dil, ec, and keys stockpiled up) THAT I will finally be at a spot that I can enjoy 100% of my play time just with my main

as it stands now I waste about 2 hours a day cycling toons OFTEN when I am done I don't feel to jazzed about playing LOL (that's grinding for you) BUT again, the end is within sight, pretty much done now just working towards creating a buffer to never have to log on an alt toon ever again:)

GOD that's going to be a great day:)
ya, so I get how some enjoy playing multiple toons, they get bored easy, want to change things up, etc, etc

myself? I find completing a build, MAXED OUT is most rewarding, THEN the game becomes more about helping others, exploring content, and socializing with players.. I like those aspects the most out of MMO games:)

I'm getting to that point myself.
    I have 2 mains, 3 alts.

Mains are finished with Doff commendation, and "almost" done with R&D schools.
So they are easy, just admiralty, R&D and Contraband.

The other 3 alts are about 90% done with Doffing Commendation and R&D.
I should be done everything by Feb/March.

I will be happy when I can just focus on my 2 mains, and do what I want with them.

Like you, after cycling my 5 toons, for admiralty and doffing and R&D, I don't have a big urge to keep on playing. It will be nice to finally focus on what I want to do.
My mains are done pretty quick, with just admiralty, R&D and Contraband, but my alts take a while finding the proper Doff assignments. It takes about 5-10 mins per my mains, and about 15-20 mins per my alts to get through the cycle.
that's about an hour, just clicking buttons :dizzy:
It gets longer if I'm yacking away in fleet chat.

Anyway as far as ships, maybe Ill give my Arbiter another chance.
Lots of people here seem to like her.
