Withering Disruptor Beams - Not Sure if Bug or W.A.I.

So, I love the graphics on the new withering disruptor weapons. Cannons are awesome, only, when I fire beams, there's no sound effect to accompany them. I went to great lengths just to make sure it wasn't too soft or getting drowned out, and these things are ninjas!

Is there supposed to be a sound effect accompanying them, is this a bug? Or is the lack of effect intentional? If it is the latter, I have to say I'm kinda disappointed, because a cool sound to match the graphic would be super dope!

    Im having the same issue with the beams. they r firing ok but theres no sound effect. I hope its a bug cause they look pretty :-)
