The windows issue is something I have reported since the ships came out. 'Lo and behold, the exact same issue still persists. Only now more stuff is graphically broken.
Yeah, I reported that too after I got mine and realised something was amiss. Funnily, the launch blog post shows them with windows! So they must've got lost along the way to pushing that to live. Perhaps some branch of the game they reverted from and forgot about that detail.
My fave KDF ships have to be the 3 Orions. Bought each of them as my first KDF toon could fly them a couple months after the change to F2P. Missed getting the free Oddy and Bortas by a day. Really love the T5-U Marauder tho.
Really enjoy the Tier 5 B'rel Retrofit still need to upgrade it to T5-U tho
Bought the Bortasqu' 3 pack a couple months after it's release when I could afford to get it for it's first discounted sale. Really fell in love with the Command Variant and upgraded the 1 variant to T5-U still enjoy flying it.
Currently just flying my free Tier 6 ships on all my toons to get the ship traits I can unlocked but still bring the 2 T5-U and B'rel out for fun at times. Wish that I could get the T5 Kamarag for my newer KDF toons (Delta Recruits) like they did for the Ambassador for the Feds as a free C-store reclaim last January and that I could do a T5-U upgrade to it without having to buy a fleet Variant. Flew it often before the T5-U release.
I am having a great deal of fun now with my Kurak class battlecruiser (The T6 Mogh), I use Dual Heavy Cannons and Turrets with torpedoes, and with this ship broke 20k dps with DHCs in ISA for the first time. I usually parse under 20k when using DHCs thanks to the fact its just harder to hit stuff.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
My avatar and sig speak for themselves. Bortasqu' all the way! The ship is by far the best show of Klingon supremacy.
It's huge and cool.. and has the inertia of a small planet.

True warriors don't need intertia.
Jokes aside, I will admit I've sunk more consoles than necessary to get this thing to fly the way I'd like it but something about it just makes it feel rightly Klingon. Of course, I remember all too well feeling like the regent in the mirror universe when I took this thing into PvP a few years ago. Strapping a point defense system to it alleviated the problem. Klingons should always prefer cannons.

I would like to know how you did that, cannons are a Klingon trait, but on the big battlecruisers I figured Id be setting myself up for a fall using dual heavy cannons. Given the turn rate.
Oh and this too funny "It's huge and cool.. and has the inertia of a small planet." I like the look of the Bortasqu' but the only thing that makes sense with that ship is all beams. I tried cannons in front with turrets in the back, and my dps was drastically lacking. Again carious Freakium how did you set up your Bortasqu'?
That's the gist of it. Still in the process of upgrading. I'm a sucker for canon but I only PvE so it's fine. 50% of the time this thing is parked like a DS9 battle.

your not going to break any dps records with a Klingon anyways. but all the pve content can be done with the bort with cannons just run the missions a couple of times and you know where to be and when you need to be there and dps will go up a bit. now im not defending the ship or anything i stopped using it when fleet ships came into the game and i got a Torkaht. but it can be done cannons was all i ever used until this last new season.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
I do not expect to beat any dps records, my concern was dragging my team down. The way I have always viewed group content is what you do effects other peoples time, so dragging them down is not ok. Just by that link its clear I am out of touch with the current set up for the game. Vulnerability Locator console? No console increasing armor resists? A aux power console? Something to do with AllRES not sure what that is about. Then the beta 2 over getting rapid fire 2? The old wisdom on emergency power to weapons was just go with one as three does not really give you a solid boost. I think maybe thats even changed. It seems I have allot of catching up to do. At any rate its a start.
Oh I'm not saying this build is a top DPS'er at all. This is just what I roll with although one thing is constant in everyone's build. The vulnerability locators are great for adding critical chance [CrtH] while your weapons generally favour critical severity [CrtD].
All the other stuff I have is just for fun. The Delta Alliance warp core? I only got that to jump away from hazards I couldn't get away from all battlestar-like. The Honor-Guard shields and engine? All for nostalgia's sake as I used to drool over them in 2011.
The main things to take away from this build are the batteries and RCS accelerators that I've piled up into this ship to give it some decent maneuverability. This may be my favourite KDF ship, but it took some sacrifices to make it so. But, I'm all for the looks anyway so I consider them worth it.
I like the D7 and the Vor'cha as 2 ships not yet T6 it would be nice if they do another battle cruiser pack thing because you know they will to have something that sort of resembles both of them in one ship. Kind of like the D7 head part and how great it always looked as its firing that torpedo where you don't have that on a vor'cha. I know they sort of did with kamarag but I think they should have 2 costumes for it atleast one thats more heavily D7 infuenced and then one more vorcha so you can mix it how you would like so then you are not waiting for them to pop out 2 different packs to get either or.
Then only other Klingon ship they really really really need to come out with a T6 version is that Hegh'ta she's been just an EC and then dilithium ship for so long and not even capable of T5-U but if you look in the game towards where you see KDF ships its always got hegh'ta npc ships. One thing I can see though if they go on this temporal cold war is a mega bundle temporal raider pack lol. I can already see them all having like warp/singularity core and then a temporal core of some kind to make a set just out of core slots Would be great if we got Hegh'ta bop and then it having some cool new function to go along with it.
ah...where do I start...
I quite like the fleet scourge - although it is certianly not a high end ship. Still fun for storyline missions though. Fleet Corsair has it'S own charm...my current verions on a sci captain does 17k dps, but I still feel it's one of the hardest ships to make it work.
The Dyson destroyer bündle is great - and so far the only useable sci ship for KDF (don't like the T5u-Varanus that much)
as far as T6s go:
cruisers: T6 Mogh, Negh'var ver and the command cruiser pack all rock.
escort carriers: T6 Guremba and Hangar raptor are both good ships, Guremba is a bit odd to fly (constantly switching form)
pure escorts: Pilot ships and Veteran ships I like, the T6 raptor and B'rel not so much
18 characters
KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
TOS: 1 tac
all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
highest DPS: 60.982

How can one not love the Giant Space Hamster?
It's not the prettiest, but it certainly did grow on me.

looks like a flying space carp to me.
