"Ignores +SCI" ships in Admiralty also ignore -SCI

If there's an admiralty mission with a -SCI required event, and a ship is assigned that says "ignores +SCI from events", it actually increases the SCI by also ignoring the -SCI from the event.

Not a bug as per developers. People really need to stop creating these threads. It's coded to ignore ANY event extra or minus amount. I'm guessing the people opening these all have Dyson ships.

Apologies, I tried a search, but there was more noise than useful information (in addition to looking over the first 5 pages of topics).
There IS a bug. Either not working as intended (though devs say it does), or tooltip. Either way something should be fixed.

For reference, would you mind linking the post where the devs said that?

As far as dyson goes, that's probably the most common ship with that stat, hence why you always see it. The gorn science ship has it too, and I've only seen a single TAC ship with "ignores TAC", and no "ignores ENG" ships.

Perhaps a tooltip update to solve confusion..like"ignores SCI mods from events "instead of " ignored +SCI..."
