Tailor bug - unable to save/load costumes (Mac)

bobahatbobahat Member Posts: 5 Arc User
Hey all,

Recently did a complete system restore on my Macbook and reinstalled Star Trek Online. Now I suddenly cannot save nor load costumes from the tailor. If I press "Save Outfit" it says "Outfit Saved", but it doesn't save anything. There is no costume in my "Load Outfit" menu, even though I have clicked save plenty of times.
Do I need to create a save folder somewhere to allow the game to save my outfits?

Having the same problem with Windows version. Reported this a couple weeks ago.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I must say there have been insanely many bugs since the last update. Hope they fix them soon...

Bottom left of the UI you will see a check box with iirc "just outfit" next to it, that will show all of your saved outfits, problem is what you saved isn't what you get when you load it back in, and it's not "just outfit" either, it applies the entire head and body preset.

I know about the "Just Outfit" option. That is not the problem. There are no saved outfits regardless of whether that box is ticked or not.

I'm running Windows 10 and having the same issue. I recently opened a ticket about this Incident: 151104-000772. They checked my account and found nothing wrong. I did a complete reinstall as well but I can't load any outfits in the tailor character editor. I hope they fix this soon.

For Macs, right click on STO in your dock and "show in finder." (or go straight to it on your applications folder if not using Steam)

Right click the app > show package contents

    Navigate through folders as follows:
    Contents > resources > transgaming > c_drive > StarTrekOnline > Star Trek Online > Live

In the "Live" folder, create a folder titled "screenshots" if it doesn't exist.

    This worked for me.
