Over all I have to give it a thumbs but but some adjustment need to be made. KDF and rom are definatly hurting on the science side because the just don't have the ship base that fed side has. Tour of duty rewards need to change just completed fed on tuesday and the next tour of duty is the same thing. I would like to see some variety on rewards. a few full R&D packs, bundle of boosts a fleet ship module, a small package of keys, lobi pack, small zen pack, doff roster upgrade (25). just a few things that might make the system more interesting. After a while what good are 2 more specialization points if they are all filled. Not that i have filled them all but i have ground out close of 50 on my main.
Nope. I'm pretty sure I don't need a Malon Battlecruiser, and probably I don't have room to keep it, but considering its card stats are better than most of my T6 C-Store ships, and the ship itself costs just a couple milions (maybe more right now), a sum I can afford if needed (but not waste just to check), then I'll buy the ship for its card. Same for most mirror ships, they are worthless nowadays as playable ships (not even upgradable to T5U), but at the same time they have some interesting card bonuses.
I will not shell out half a billion to buy an Annorax just for its card. But a few millions for a card I could consider (there are doffs that cost more than that, and they are just cards as well).
It's so crazy, the mirror ships used to go for 100k EC on the exchange, there were times the odd cruisers and escorts went for 50k EC. Now they are in the millions
this just goes back to what I said in another thread titled "Exchange limit of 500m need to be increased to 1bil".
the value of an item is all controlled by scarcity and desirability, the value of an item will increase if an item suddenly becomes more desirable, this is why the value of many ships has increased dramatically with the introduction of the Admiralty system, many ships that players weren't all that bothered to buy are now desired much more just for the card that goes with them.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

I have characters from all 3 factions and have no problem filling the missions with a high sci requirement on any of them, the only missions where it can be tricky and you just end up having to take a gamble is the ones with high requirements in all 3 category's but this is the same for any faction.

Although discussing this stuff with you indeed is probably useless anyway, considering your post in another thread where you claimed all but infallibility.
Don’t worry too much with with him. The player seems to be a lil disappointed with the game which is ok. Everybody has such phases sooner or later.
From the rest of your post, yea I conclude you approach the admirality system well and do it right. You see the system for what it offers and play around it accordingly. GG

Give KDF and Roms more science ships so they don't struggle so bad against the high science requirements. Failing that, lower the science requirements in at least the KDF campaign so that they're not so punishing to non-Feds.
Other than that, I've gotta say that I'm really happy with the Admiralty system. I feel like I'm being more-than-amply rewarded for my obsessive ship collecting

100% this. I also consider it too good to be true.
