I know this is a 'known' bug but have yet to see any info on a workaround or dev acknowledgement that they're working on the issue.
Situation: Completed the Dyson project on one (KDF, Nausicaan) captain. Filled project but did not claim at that time because limited space.
For admiralty, logged in that character, claimed the ship, upgraded to T5-U. Checked other characters, was unable to claim the Dyson. Was recommended in zone chat that a zone change or relog might update it, tried both, still 'Claim' option greyed out.
Asked around in Zone again, was told that T5-U upgrade was an issue, and that if I discharged the ship on that captain I should be able to reclaim it as a straight T5, and then claim it on my other captains. (Yes, I should have done more research at this point)
Discharged the Dyson, now can't reclaim it on that captain, nor claim it on any other captain on the account.
Any info on workarounds or potential fixes in the works would be appreciated, it would be very handy for some of the Admiralty missions I am seeing.

If anyone has an update, a link to a tweet or dev response or note in the patch notes, I would really appreciate some info on whether this issue is ever going to be addressed.

(Note: I am referring to the way Event Rep store ships are supposed to be account unlocks once one character has them, and this is supposed to be a retroactive unlock for the account if one captain has completed the project. Some people have the unlock working, some do not.)
My account is non-sub, though I have bought some Zen for it. I completed and claimed the anniversary Dyson on one captain back during the event in 2014. None of my other captains are able to claim it.
So it is 'possible' that it is a sub vs. non-sub thing, although there are plenty of other potential causes for the difference in claimability.
