I do not like the new Sarr Thein as a model. I would like to break off that long arm in the first place. It would made the ship look much better. If this ship was build in reality that is one of the first things that would happen. The breen ships are good in performance and fun to fly, but their progressive unrealistic look, each ship looks more fantastic, makes me ditch them. Good for the new admirality feature.
I would seriously consider paying money for advanced customization options for these ships.

Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Well I do like the new Sarr Theln. It's only problem is its scaled way too small, so it looks ridiculous when launching Plesh Breks that are bigger than the carrier.
Still, I wouldn't object to the option of using the old model, either.
Breen ships do look great...but the whole idea of the Breen always stuck in my throat. They were supposed to use organic ships, they have no blood and yet in DS9, Weyoun said that their homeworld was quite clement! Instead of the Breen, it should have been say the Zenkethi, with such radical designs.

Nope. From the looks of the Admiralty card, it's an eng/carrier.

even if you don't like or use the ships they will come in handy for the Admiralty system, you can discharge them after you get the Admiralty card for them.
once claimed and discharged you can always reclaim them later if you feel the need.

I think the last time was before Delta Rising. Feds got the Ambassador Retrofit T5 (Which can't be upgraded, as only the Fleet version can.), KDF got the Varanus (Which I remember because they were mad they didn't get the Ambassador's counterpart the Kamarang T5, but at least the Varanus was upgradeable), and Roms didn't get a ship at all, except Fed Roms who could aquire the T5 Ambassador. (Which for a short time, before T5-U and T6 dropped, was quite fun because it let Roms use a Fed ship at endgame with the RRW visable on the hull .)

Oh, believe me, I've got dozens of ships I don't use or really like (and many of them - not sure if dozens - that I never used). My indifference came from having two of the ships already and maybe even the third (still not sure about the Excelsior). But it is no doubt a very nice and fairly useful giveaway for many players. Overall this week of giveaways was a very pleasant surprise.

I already have the T5 Excelsior, and it's a nice ship, if not a little too catered for Engineering. Wouldn't mind the Resolute setup, but I'm not paying 3k zen for that.

I agree, but then again I really won't complain about the Excelsior, I even thought about getting one a few months ago. The Romulan ship looks not too terrible but I'm always a little reluctant with non-canon designs. But it looks like a slightly squisched D'D.

Very happy to see ships being given away, makes up for the lack of a T5 vessel in the new lockbox. If this were to become a regular thing I'm all for it.
I'm especially happy with the Ar'kif, and glad I saved that upgrade token. My Reman has a proper endgame ship now.
