So finally meet our Mirror character?

talonxvtalonxv Member Posts: 4,257 Arc User
Probably been asked, but I am not going digging for it. But are we FINALLY going to meet the mirror of our characters? And maybe our boffs?

Well, they have the tech to duplicate our characters, they did so during the Delta Recruit event. There hasn't been any announcement though

Would love to fight a mirror of my ship I think if the ai was done right and it used all my skills it would be a rough battle.

Doubt it, but that would be nice as a new arc.
Maybe not an arc about you getting framed by your double (because it's overused and even Starfleet/KDF/Republic wouldn't be THAT stupid), but one where they're showing the Prime!Universe they too are also badass.
Maybe assisting Sela into rebuilding the RSE to*gets a table thrown in the face* ALRIGHT, alright, no more Sela!
Or piloting the ISS Enterprise-F. Or forming an alliance with T'Ket.

Unless our Mirror!Self bit more than they could chew and got themselves killed by a random Boff.

If we do meet our double he/she should be a total pacifist and refuse to fight you or anybody. Because each of our characters has blown up so many ships and killed so many tens (hundreds?) of thousands of NPC's that by all rights our mirror should be completely non-violent.

That said, we should still vaporize them. Because that's just our nature. It wouldn't make any sense if we didn't.

    I want to.

Edit: Or maybe I don't. Having thought about it we'll end up being generic moustache twirlers with no subtly of depth. We'll be evil Kira rather than evil O'Brian.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

So since I already made a mirror character, does that mean my mirror character will meet my non mirror character? or will my mirror character meet the same exact mirror character clone? Further more will I get answers as to why my mirror character has a clone from the same mirror universe my mirror character came from? ..... mirror.

Problem: How many of us could survive against the sheer dps that we ourselves put out? If i have to fight mirror me, I'm getting my Miranda out storage T1 vs. T1 is a fight I can win

I don't know if I'd resort to those drastic measures but I could see my Excel battle going forever, I'd be relying on bad AI. My escort and sci are both just a case of superior positioning and timing on my part.

City of Heroes sort of had this as well when you fought your future self.

I totally spaced that, you are right, amazing how the old games did stuff like that isn't it?

I would like the ability to read a newspaper while sitting down near the viewing windows in ESD.

Yeah I do the Undine battleground in the Dyson sphere sometimes. The Citadel ships are kind of fragile considering how big they are.

Millions. Millions dead. Our mirror versions must be saints.
