I just came across this on STO Wiki's Lore page, Vol 29:
Q: Where did Starfleet send the U.S.S. Enterprise-E in 2408?
    A: Starbase 236

I guess the E appeared on Path to 2409: Vol 29.

The Path to 2409 Timeline. Published by Cryptic Studios prior to the games launch. And hosted on Cryptic's website for the game until the site was later revamped. Meant to bridge the gap between filmed, prime-universe Star Trek and the game story. These timeline points were later adopted into that Lore mission found at the Academies.

^ Sorry about that. I got my dates mixed up and then realized that after posting. I guess I shouldn't surf the wiki so late at night.

They foreshadowed it in Nemesis. Cryptic and, separately, the novelverse, just drew the logical conclusion from B-4 suddenly singing the song Data sung at Troi and Riker's wedding reception at the start of the movie.

This despite Brent Spiner trying to get them to kill off his character for good, understand.

Unfortunately for him, an AI character is not so easily killed.

Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.

I dare you to do better.

STO isn't canon, and neither are any of the books.

Just because you see a Galaxy Dread in a episode of Voyager in the ship yard, don't mean it was the real future.

The Galaxy-X appeared in TNG only... it never appeared in Voyager...

There is a massive mothball fleet orbiting Venus in case there is a need to bring the ships back. The NX Enterprise, a very big trash bag full of the original enterprise's ashes from the orbit of the defunct Genisis planet, the beat up Enterprise A, a big gaping hole where the B, and C should be parked, a picture of Troi's Drivers licence, a bunch of scrap from the E, a Reserved parking spot, a bunch of space docks waiting to be used, then a real big fuzzy pictire of the J.
