Pidgin issues?

Anyone else having issues trying to log into the chat server through pidgin? I keep getting a temporary authentication failure, when I try to login. Worked fine yesterday, now it doesn't. And before anyone asks, I'm a LTS, so I have XMPP permissions.

yes, i've been having the exact same issues since 3 PM EST today, so...9 hours now i haven't been able to connect to cryptic's chat server via pidgin, and no idea if it's on their end or pidgin's

Yes, xmpp is down for me and all the people I know who use it. If you have been logged in since the problem started, you're fine, but as soon as you log out and try to log back in, it will not connect.

I had the issue as well. I'm lost without pidgin as I'm not a great fan of the in-game chat windows.

Any chance we could get some attention from Cryptic on this? A lot of us rely on pidgin.

whats the alternative for Pigdin? Anyone care to share other IM tools out there?

Seems to be an issue somewhere that has taken this down. Still waiting on a Dev Response though
