sto keeps minamizing and crashing for some reason getting no error message aside from the .exe has stoped responding not sure why this is happening but hopefuly it gets fixed

that doesn't give too much information to go on. can you provide some more info on what exactly you're doing before this occurs? ex: what zone are you in, are you transferring zones, did you use any specific powers, etc.

all that happens is the game freezes then it instantly crashes
and all i get for an error is that the sto.exe has stoped responding

Have you double checked to be sure that your anti-virus software or firewall isn't blocking the program? sometimes those softwares can get a little over zealous at their job. Are you running any other programs in the background as well? That's a couple things to double check.

If you double check that stuff and it still gives you issues then try setting the game to one of the proxy servers or try running it as an administrator
