    Wow, the reputation space weapon set is going right on my KDF char as soon as I can (it's a torpedo that shoots more torpedoes!)

    Also - new Battlezone is fun. I like Battlezones.

    I find regrettable that the helmet doesn't have any transparency. That was a cool feature on the Iconian armor and i expected it to be in all futur armors.
    I am really disappointed on this point, especially when i find that the armor itself is pretty good looking.

    New Battlezone? Welcome./The Starship Technologies set sounds like it'd be especially good for science vessels focusing on drains (in the case of the Temnota, tachyon beam, Tyken's Rift, tetryon beams). The weapon set is tempting, but I do wonder if the radiation damage (and, indeed, space radiation damage as a whole, including things like the deteriorating SD bonus, thoron radiation from Delta Alliance rep weapons, and the Hargh'peng torpedo) is boosted by the Particle Generators skill).

    'Interesting' also applies to the ground set both in terms of effects and visuals. As for the latter... first, I like that bat'leth model, and wonder if we'll see a sword and lirpa similarly styled; and second, I would also apply that color/texture to the rifle as well, in the interest of tying things together aesthetically. The armor visuals... I approve of those too; if you can get a black base, they'll have one up on the MACO set (again, the fact that players can't color them black is inexcusable given that some security guards, a couple of NPCs on Kobali Prime, and - most notably - all of Facility 4028's photonic personnel do).

    Does anyone still use Phasers apart from the NPC because this may not work in a PVP way

    The new medic kit module sounds like the best thing since sliced bread. WANTWANTWANT
    DPS-Bronze, DPS-Silver, DPS-Gold, etc. are FAKE! They were created by an outvoted minority who destroyed the original DPS channels!

    Tactical Team sucked, once upon a time. I got it buffed. Don't think for a minute that Cryptic ignores forum feedback.

    If you look carefully, you'd see that helmets are transparent in the shots, although they're heavily tinted and specular bloom hides most of it in the bigger headline picture.

    The Terran Rep stuff look really awesome. I'm getting it on all of my characters. I noticed that if you have Tactical Caitians and Ferasans, you are going to be benefiting from the ground set a lot, since the physical and melee damage buffs work very well in concert with the Caitian and Ferasan Pounce ability.

    The space set seems rather cool too.

    Do the disruptor energy burst damage fired by the shield stack with tactical consoles? Just wondering if it would be beneficial on one of my current disruptor builds.

    Torpedo boats are definitely gonna love that reputation.

    Also, my god the micro-torpedo deals physical damage instead of kinetic? that thing is gonna become a portable mini-nuke

    Nice armor visuals :smile: Not sure if I'll invest in it though.

    My biggest issue with these rep sets is that they are (almost?) always tailored against a single opponent (then again I guess that's half the point), and I'm a fan of all-rounder solutions :smile:

    But the quantum capacitor cores have piqued my interest.
    And, being a tac, can't wait to try out that micro torp launcher :sunglasses:

    edit: and yeah I first thought that was a railgun too XD
