Nope they say nothing, that way there won't be a firestorm when they can't make good. Can't blame them really, it's not their call what ships they get to work on and even though they may be interested in working on one thing, someone higher up might decide they need to be doing something else.

But they show pictures and details about the ship before it is out on STO. I really would like to know if there is any chance they will bring out T6 versions for the Vesta and Odyssey class very soon. I am saving zen at the moment to buy the Vesta and Odyssey bundles and I am try to decide on wait until T6 versions are out or buy the bundles now with the 20% discount.

Of which is why they don't announce what's coming up until a few days ahead of a release: players would target specific ships that they want, and ignore other releases that come up in the interim. If you actually knew there was an Odyssey or Vesta release in the pipe, you wouldn't be thinking about getting something else at the moment. But as it is, since there's doubt that those ships will even be released, you're thinking about buying one of the currently-available offerings instead.

Basically, they get more sales by staying mum about what's being developed...

Me too. I don't think it will be soon though, not soon enough for me anyway.

Well, if we're playing the guessing game:

We'll see individual T6 versions of the 3-pack ships that can use the consoles and skins from their lower tier versions. Unlike other C-Store single-ship offerings, they will come stock T6-11... if only to ensure sales to folks that already have T5-U11 versions (that, and stock T6-10 with Fleet T6-11 would lead to no end of bitching about re-selling players the same ship twice over, and could potentially impact sales). I'm guessing at:

• An Odyssey, Bortasqu', and Scimitar at T6, with the Oddy/Bort seeing major improvements and the Scim upgrading the LtC Uni->LtC Uni/Spec and the Ens Uni->Lt Uni/Spec seating (though with specifically assigned Specializations, likey Command and Intel respectively). They will all be capable of using their respective T5 console sets, possibly with re-worked bonuses to be more balanced with each other, and will gain a 4-piece bonus for adding in the shared T6 console. They will also be released along with a new separation pet UI element being added into the current hangar pet UI, with much pomp and circumstance.
• A MMSV at T6, with a T6 Nausicaan Siphon Frigate as the KDF version and a T6 Dhelan as the Romulan version. The MMSV will gain a 4-piece set bonus for adding in the shared T6 console, the Siphon Frigate will gain a drain-focused 2-piece set bonus and duplicate the MMSV 4-piece as its 3-piece bonus when using the other Nausicaan consoles (though this won't apply to the cross-faction lock box consoles for "reasons"), and the Dhelan will gain a the same 3-piece bonus as the Fed 4-piece and KDF 3-piece. I'd further guess at a 4/2 payload to split the difference between the classic Sci payload, the Dhelan, and the Annorax (though they would lose an aft weapon slot, lack the frigate pets, and have no innate Lance, etc. as compared to that beastie).
• An Andorian Escort is probably a low priority at this point, since we now have so many ships at T6 with 5/2 and 5 Tac consoles that its role has been filled by other ships; they might have been good candidates for designing the Federation line of Pilot Escorts, but that ship has sailed. Plus, they are neither "flagships" nor can they fill a void in the KDF or Rom ship lines as a way of further padding sales. I'm not even going to hazard a guess on this one.

That's all just supposition, though... we'll see.

The other T6 ship I am also interested in is a Sovereign class. Other than increasing the boff rank and increase the stats, for a special console or built in ability, I am thinking of may be special beam arrays, corbomite reflector, ablative hull generator and may be an improved QSD, which I also want other T6 ships to have.

Also improve the look of the Sovereign so it will look like the end of Nemesis/post Nemesis Sovereign class design and an T6 version.

A T6 version of all temporal ships could be interesting ... for some or all sci players of the game.
I'm interested in T6 version of:

What would the developers do to make the T6 Sovereign class unique? With the Regent class it has the metreon gas console and the wide angle quantum torpedo launcher.

I saw your previous post on this, it could be a possibility but with all these new consoles added you will lose a console slot for either armour or a science console. I do know that you do not have to have all the special consoles but it would be good to have them plus use the consoles for armour or science.

@Raj011: If you're able to edit your first post, add the Advanced Escort (T6) to the list, as I believe that one was as recent as Thursday.

If we want to make a list of all the remaining tier 5 ships into tier 6 (not counting ships that only exist in the fleet store, from a federation member world or from an event), these are the ships that remain:

Remember this list is just for the faction ships, not lock box nor anything else. Klingons have the least number of ships that were at tier 5 Vice Admiral (WHich are where most of the ships are coming from with the exception the Heavy Raptor Carrier which was based on the Qin, only at tier 5 (RA).

This pretty much...they don't say a word till literally days before they're released...they release ships on thursday...they generally announce them on monday or tuesday and stats are on tuesday or wednesday.

Posting info about unreleased ships/content would be in violation of the forum rules. Speculating on which T6 ships are coming is one thing, but posting information that is factual about stuff that hasn't been announced yet is a big no-no.

At this point that's all we can do; speculate that eventually all T5 ships will have a T6 version released.

The devs aren't going to confirm or deny anything. When they're ready to announce something they'll announce it. All we can do is be patient.

T6 ships I would like to have:

B'rel
T'varo
Dreadnaught Cruiser (Gal-X)
Maybe a T6 Defiant (depends on boff stations)

Oddy and Vesta should be an 11 console Fleet Quality. I 100 percent agree with that. And before people decide the vesta should be 5/4, No All Science vessels stay at 3/3. And that pains me to say that too But ah well.

Obviously stronger ships. New unique consoles and ship design. Yes and No. The ships that are out are good but as the game progresses the game will be more challenging.

I'll be happy to pay for a T6 Mobius or Wells. Being future based temporal ships should count for something!

I'd like to know why the Annorax can use their consoles, but we can't use its...I also think since Temporal Science was supposedly devastating against the Iconians, that there was no bonus to battle with the Heralds.
