Constant crashing during map moves

I run STO through the Arc browser and it seems as of the last few months it will periodically on a map transfer freeze the client into a not responding state which only allows me to terminate the application. The latest time this happened was this evening and here in the information the crash report gave me:

Could anyone please advise on how to fix the issue?

Someone in this thread http://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1200615/freezing-during-loading-screen-zone-changes/p3 suggested turning of reduced file in the advanced options menu. Several people reported that this has solved their problems and my experience is it also seems to have solved my periodic crashes during load screens so I'd recommend trying it and seeing if it helps.

If that doesn't help, you should def check you hard drive via the windows internal scan disk, maybe there are some corrupt sectors. Takes ages but it helped me ones when I was having a similar issue.
