Has there ever been any talk of this? It gets really annoying to have something in my inventory that I absolutely do not use and the only way to clear it out is to manually remove it from my inventory. Would be nice if I could just sell the things. Lockboxes and I don't get along...I hate those things, I hate that they even drop at all. Every time one falls in my inventory I am insulted. It just rubs salt in the wound when I can't even sell them to a vendor.
Anyway, anything ever been brought up about this before? If so, what came out of that?

Sold a stack of Cardie Boxes for 1m a few weeks ago.
You could also stockpile them for future selling on a mule alt.
(which is what I do)
Since there is a way to purchase them in-game (Dilithium store), it actually DOES make sense to be able to sell them.
Even if it's little more than what a Small Hypo sells for, it'd still be more beneficial than having stacks of items that can't even be sold for 0 ec...
Think of lockboxes as commercials on TV, you might not like them, but they are a necessary evil to fund the game.
The lockboxes I never plan to open, I mail them to people on my ignore list.
