I have noticed that viewscreens on alien ships no longer reflect the bridge they have.
A little explanation:
Before, and still the case for older ships, when you get a dialogue window while in a ship, the viewscreen would reflect the bridge of the ship.
For examples:
-For Jem'Hadar ships, the person you are interacting with was actually viewed via the virtual display device (the headset that gave Sisko a big headache in The Ship)
-For Breen ships, it's in a dark blue viewscreen
-for the Obelisk carrier, the person is seen in a huge holographic ball
-for Ferengi ships, it's a dark purple and light brown viewscreen
-For the Kazon heavy raider, there are ornaments at each corner of the viewscreen
-and I guess the Tal Shiar adapted ones are all Borg-y and stuff
But that's no longer the case and recent (even the Kobali cruiser) don't have a unique viewscreen in the window, just a default one depending on the faction.
To replicate, it's easy:
-go to DS9
-get the "welcome to DS9, you can dock" window
-notice the viewscreen
-beam to DS9
-go to the docking ring
-ready a ship with a different bridge
-beam to your ship
-wait for the "welcome to DS9, you can dock" window
-notice the viewscreen
-and repeat all that as much as you wish.
