My Wishlist:
Special FE with atleast one of the captains from the various series ( kirk, picard, sisko, janeway, archer )
A second special fe with John de Lancie as Q
An event similiar to the delta recruitment one, just with celebrating star trek
A giveaway
Refits of the flagships
Rerun of unique ships and items ( various ce and mirror universe rewards, ability to slot old winter and summer ships, lobi rerun items from the old fes like cane / shard / reman boff / breen boff )

What do you guys want to see?

T6 Connie Refit! Bring it!

I doubt the Connie will make it. How about the Bridge from Star Trek VI or Enterprise E. Ships I really don't know since. Its hard to say. The last few Anniversary ships I didn't get. Like the Dyson and Kobali. I didn't care for any of those. I could use the Dyson, but since my other characters couldn't get it. That killed my Sci from getting it in the future.

Upgrade to the Constitution Class to give her a more canon appearance. Tier 6 Constitution to go with it. I highly doubt this would happen but I could ask for it anyway.

Unfortunately Endgame Connies won't ever happen because CBS. Might be a good idea to not suggest it anymore otherwise askray or Trendy might close this thread because it violates the F.C.T. in regards to Endgame Connies.

Anyways... I'd like to see the "Assault" phaser pistol from ST 5 and 6, Dr. Crusher's lab coat... just a bunch of small things really. Maybe a decent canon ship design.

I agree with the OP. I would like a special FE arc maybe 5 episodes that involve as many of the shows captains as they can get, bring in Q to snap his fingers and put me on the bridge of a T6 Connie with kirk and crew. The T6 Connie will likely NEVER happen as a Cstore/ingame ship,, but what about a small episode arc? update the looks, give it the 4/4 weapons layout, when you use it for the mission have it have an automatic weapons layout that's not changeable or anything, but works to kill the baddies. Its doubtful William shatner would do a voiceover, but Patrick Stewart? He is such an awesome person, and he's been talking more about star trek lately, so id bet he'd be open to the idea. Kate Mulgrew? Well,, we pretty know how that's going ( no spoilers) Avery Brookes? Havent heard much from him, but I bet he'd do it. Scott Bakula? Possibly.. but who knows.

Secondly, if the Connie Idea is a no go,, what about a refit NX for the time travel arc? The NX is already in game as a recreation of the original,, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to update it to T-6.

With " exploration" becoming the center of STO's story in the next season, it seems reasonable to assume the 50th anniversary would be something along the lines of exploration.

Just realized a story they could do that would be AWESOME is the final Voyage of the Enterprise-A! Its in canon in a book The Children of Eden, if im remembering correctly. Perhaps getting the right to the books story would be too complicated.

Whatever Cryptic has planned im sure many will love it, some will hate it. Either way Im looking forward to it.

Getting the captains' actors and the actors of other iconic characters like Data to provide voice overs would be amazing

Story wise I'm not sure... but it has to be something we won't forget easily.

As for special events: maybe

- A tour through space, with voice overs for each or at least some planets that were explored/visited in the series and movies.
- Attending captain Archer's first speech at the foundation of the Federation (would have to be written first of course).
- Loading screens that display the cast members and everyone who helped creating the series. (I can imagine that there would be legal issues here though, since permission would probably be needed to use people's appearances in the game.)
- Full interiors for all the main ships (the Enterprises, Defiant and Voyager) that can be explored during the anniversary.

Items:

- Free special edition IDIC tribble
- A datapad, like the one from the Iconian repuation system, containing quotes from Gene Roddenberry

And one other thing I want to see:

A new series on TV of course!

A Tier 6 Constitution might be 100% out of the question but I still think the current Constitution should get an updated model at least. As for something more realistic, how about the birth of the Federation? Perhaps someone goes back in time and attempts to assist the Romulans during the Earth-Romulan War? So we go back in time to stop them while trying to avoid changing history ourselves. Naturally things don't go as planned and we're forced to team up with the Enterprise NX-01, but luckily that crew is familiar with time travel and the future Federation so they are more than willing to help.

They should try to get as many Enterprise actors as they can. Perhaps we can get a canon Enterprise interior and hopefully the Refit NX-Class starship.

Since an endgame Connie won't happen, then how about a T3 or 4 version? Quick example: weapon and Boff layout could match T3 Heavy Cruiser, consoles from T4 Explo Cruiser, and the hull hp, turn rate etc. from in between those two. This, imo, shouldn't be considered endgame, and it could provide some more build options, fun and survivability for people without lobi/c-store mk XIV epic gear. The ship would come with a polished TOS skin, and a detailed TMP one with aztec patern. The TMP era bridge would be also welcomed

FEs with THE captians would also be fun. Every week Q sends our toons through time and space to assist legends of Trek. Help Cpt Archer establish the UFP and get phased cannons for your ship. Revisit the gangster planet with James.T.Kirk for a fedora and mid-XX century long dress. Get Cpt Picard out of a malfunctioning gangster holonovel, and “borrow” his tommy gun, etc, etc...

But seriously, if they ever got John de Lancie to do Q Star Trek Online would be complete. The current Q in game is a mere shadow of de Lancie's Q (and I know it's supposed to be a different Q anyway), and without his voice it's nothing. His Q is the ultimate troll in the universe and the more I think about it the more I want them to make bringing him in a priority.

How about posters stop asking for an beyond the current tier Constitution in various threads as a 50th Anniversary Event. Back to reality, a William Shatner VO would be great along with a FE going back in time to fly a Constitution (because I love the Constitution as much as the aforementioned posters).
