Question regarding this E-mail

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
I got the Free Andromeda Email but a friend of mine did not. Does anyone know the details regarding it and how it was decided on who would get it? Their last login was early June sometime.

Also, if this turns into a flamefest...I am going to tweet Trendy to close it right away so keep that in mind people.

    I don't think they've released any further details... the e-mail itself wasn't even known to the general public until someone posted here. I haven't seen any official forum posts or anything like that.

    It's legit.

    You stayed away from the game, and he did not... So they decided that you should be rewarded for not being in the game for long time.

    There's about 20 threads that describe it better than me.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    I figured it was legit. I'm just trying to find out if they were under the cut off or if they should send in a support ticket to find out why they did not get an e-mail.

    Nope... He was just supporting by playing and you weren't, so they decided to reward you.

    Normal? Maybe in a Cryptic way.

    much of the butthurt over said email is due to the lack of info on what qualifies one to get it. Since we have had players that claim to have never left or stopped playing get the email
