Reputation Sponsorship Tokens not useable

I've passed a few to my romulan alt, but am unable to use it. It comes up saying this item cannot be equiped?

    Here's a workaround that helps most people: On the alt you're attempting to use them on, slot any Reputation project. This should force the applicable Sponsorship projects to appear, and you can then either cancel or complete the first project you slotted.

    Seems to have done the trick for all but one of them. Thanks for the fast reply.

    I currently have the daily running on that one and have passed tier one already, would either of those things be causing an issue?

    That shouldn't affect it. I've activated the sponsorship token on characters whilst the daily is running, all the way up to tier 4 being completed and not had any issues. Can you slot one of the hourly projects on that character to see if it kicks the sponsorship project into life?

    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    I searched for this thread because one of my characters has tier 5 on all reputations. using my shared account i transferred tokens to all my characters and they used them. Even after use, each one of my characters to date have received no bonus to their reputations. Any fixes for this or is this another bug waiting to be found?

    I haven't seen any reports about that before, so it could be a new issue. When you use a sponsorship token, you should also get 5XP toward the reputation in question. Do you know if that showed up on the reputation's progress bar?

    If you're positive you've used the tokens and they definitely haven't increased the amount of Rep XP gained from projects, then it would be worth providing the devs with a character name and @handle for them to take a look at in case it's a bug on the characters in question.     ​​

    My characters name is Koc@Mjolnir1963 to include Denata,Lasi,Tyrannus,Chyz`Thorri . I play these regularly and none of them have received any bonuses and all had their tokens thru my shared account bank. I subscribed so i could advance my characters more rapidly and hate to see no returns on investing in this.

    After 10+ days khamseenair I've still got no response from anyone concerning this issue! I mean....WTF RIGHT??

    Sorry you haven't heard anything back yet. I tried to reproduce this to file an official report but, after giving 8 of my characters who didn't have all reps completed the tokens, I couldn't get it to reproduce.

    I'll tag @borticuscryptic to see if he can take a look at your characters and hopefully find a solution for you. There must be some underlying issue on your account if none of your characters are getting the double rep XP after running the project.     ​​

    Having tested this bug myself on a character with none of the reps sponsored yet, no reproduction either. Some things can just affect the account for one odd reason or another.

    I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.

    I've had this bug effect a few toons before. Sometimes I just needed to complete a project for the reputation before it considered the project to claim the sponsorship as unlocked. It's weird but sometimes that's just something I've noticed that can crop up.

    It's just so frustrating guys u know? We have all played those games (some of us for years), and invested so much time and enjoyed our results at the same time. I get this. My thoughts are these forums are formed for the reason of product improvement i.e: better gaming but confidence gets a bit shaken when you have all these programmers and developers of this game who dont even take the time to reply for a recurring problem...a hit and miss issue that persists. I've experienced other problems as well but this is the most irritating because i feel i am being shortchanged by the game.

    Can you provide screenshots of the UI, showing what the project says you will be rewarded as well as what you are actually receiving?

    This isn't something anyone has been able to reproduce internally, and I'm thinking that it may just be a miscommunication of some sort.
