Yes there is improvement in pve and on empty maps.
In pvp maps like kerrat its the same (exept the map lag seems lower)
plasma proc boats with kemo+iconian RDM traits make ppl lag and get huge ping spikes,
resonant makes the same with ui lagging out compleatly
cannons and torps dont fire if there are more then 5-6 ppl on map
and they dont fire if you try to fire on target that has pilot tree primery while it proc'es either scratch the pain or alldmg immunity from it.
command ships and pilot ships on proc of their special ability make ping spikes.
torp spread 3 and other tac abilities in activation go on cd without activating - and get different timers on CD.
So basicly an improvement that makes flying more fluent, but most of the stuff lags out the same gameplay wise.
forgot to add now if map has more players then every minute or two every single (active and on cd) ability gets 5-7s extra cd refresh - a new addition that wasnt prepatch.
