    Honestly it is a bit irritating that almost every third thread is a poll.
    It's also a delicous irony that there are polls about being too many polls.......hilarious :D

    There is abuse of the poll feature going on sure, but I'm hoping that forumites will calm down once the novelty wears off.

    There surely are too many polls with painfully "funny" answers.

    I am pretty much over the polls now. I think it should now be restricted to Cryptic employees only.

    I've been on forums where polls are allowed before, and I have to say the reaction from users here is...really over the top, compared to other places I've seen. It isn't a bad feature when people don't spam with it. So IMO, spam/pointless polls should be moderated, but I don't know that taking away the feature entirely is a necessary idea.

    In other boards it is a regular feature, though. STO forums have practically begged for a poll function for five years. Now they got it and go crazy with it - I personally never, ever got why this is needed aside from direct developer interaction (which Cryptic doesn't do anymore as we all know).
