So today I thought It'd be fun to hop into the NX-Class to do some low-tier runs. Hopped back into my T6 Galaxy just to have all the stuff on my toolbar moved around.
I cannot replicate it as the whole system is flawed. I would have posted it under "Feedback", but the subforums aren't really about Feedback, it's Gameplay Discussion.
Therefor I report the whole loadout system as bugged. Apparently most of the revenue comes from selling ships.
If the system to switch ships doesn't work reliably, and you stay in one ship, because you fear losing your tray arrangement, cryptic loses money.
Getting that to work reliably should be THE top priority! Scrap the current code, start again at Zero. Get an outsider to look at the code to get a fresh view.
I say "you" as I don't know who is responsible for deciding what is on top of the priority list/who makes the decisions, I'm aware it's compliated.
I know a lot of great people work at cryptic, and we have some awesome Devs and a great Community Manager.
But I am just fed up by all these flaws that make the game feel like it's in beta, while there's so much talent in the dev team that it could be so much better, so please forgive my harshness.
Please pass my discontent on to whoever is responsible.
Just to make sure, both Trendy and some Devs did a great job in getting the production team way closer to the playerbase then it ever was, in a time where it couldn't have been much further away, I really apreciate that!
If you want to have a look, the char is Setek@tyrinius I switched from the Fleet T6 Galaxy to the T1 NX-Class and set this one up, flew Japori in a team, then ISN and KSN, switched back to the Fleet T6 Galaxy and my personal tray was messed up.

It's amazingly easy for me to recreate. Just discharge a ship, and the tray assignments go bye-bye. Reloaded saved loadouts doesn't fix anything. I haven't tried in a while to see if its changed, but deleting an inactive BOFF used to do the same thing.
It's been this way since loadouts were introduced.
PS: I don't agree that Tendy has improved anything. She's pure PR, nothing more.
