Crash to Desktop

This has always been an issue, but it's been one that I could more or less ignore until today. I don't know what changed, but today alone the game has just up and crashed to the desktop five times, and I'm sure it will do so a few more times before I go to sleep tonight. So far it's crashed:

Once on Risa, beaming up to my ship
Twice on Risa, during the dance contest
Once during Infected Space Advanced, warping out after it was over
Once in the Sol system, logging out to switch characters

I can find no rhyme or reason for any of this. Is anyone else having this issue as of late?

Since the start of the summer event, I've been experiencing a similar problem.
I've had this happen during the dance contest, but that's a bug that's been properly fixed in the first update after the summer event went live (as far as I'm aware, anyway).
I've not had it happen while beaming up, warping out of places, or changing characters.

For me, the game crashes to the desktop from time to time at the end of the powerboard race during the summer event.
When I grab the flag at the finish, it sometimes (but not always) crashes, usually at the point where the audio file of the 'race official' saying "You've finished the race" should start playing.
The game does tell me I got the rewards (and as far as I can tell, I do), and it also gives me the messages telling me I've resolved the mission. Then, when the audio file is supposed to play, I sometimes get the 'subtitles' that go with it, sometimes they only start to appear, and sometimes not teven that, and the game freezes and crashes.

It's a rather annoying thing, and I'd love to see it fixed, or at least get some kind of "we're aware and working on it"...

I'm crashing to desktop 2-4 times every day on Risa and EVERY time when I start up the game again it wants to verify 118.256 files!
Crashes are caused by various actions: Many times during the end of the dance contest, opening a box bought from the risian vendor, zooming into a map, logging out to character screen etc.

C'mon devs, please fix this - cause it's getting beyond annoying!

Since the July 25th update, the crashing for me has tripled!

I can confirm this very frustrating issue. I played 5 ISA's today...got crash to desktop in 3 of them. Never happened to me before this last patch. Hoping for a fix...
