Griefer tales

Since I just had my first griefer incident after years of playing the game, I though I'd make this thread to share griefer stories to warn other players.

For mine, I was doing Infected Manus when we reached the end zone and the griefer ran into it to activate the force field so we couldn't move on. He then says "got to Pot, brb." He then goes AFK, forcing us to report him and leave.

Share yours. PM people the names of the griefers if anyone is interested.

Doing Manus and this TRIBBLE named Smiley who AFKed half the thing decided that teamwork is for sissies and runs like hell through the whole thing only stopping just to teabag downed players. When we reached the large chamber near Ogens room he left everything to us and went to the next room to continue the objectives. He parked himself on the other side of the force-field even after I pleaded with him to let himself die so that we could enter. He didn't and intend trolled everyone in team chat and set up a disco ball. He tracked me down months later and spammed private challenges and bridge invites. This man is asking to die I say.

Smiley is the same one who griefed my group. Guy gets around.

Had a couple bad experiences. Will leave names out however.

Kitomer Ground:
Had one person from a certain fleet NOT contribute anything, use party poppers, and intentionally tried to kill us by popping Disco Balls to interfere with us while getting swarmed by Borg. Despite his best efforts we succeeded in completing the STF.

Infected Space Advanced:
Had some jerk make a big joke about "Looking for his spec point" after we killed the first cube. We all went left as usual, he went right and, still making a joke of it, "Wondered" if his spec point was in one of the generators. He popped it, spawning nanite spheres. He intentionally failed us. I think he was also from a certain fleet. Said jerk was sumarilly reported after that fiasco.

I will note however that I was surprised that I had a decent STF run one time of Kitomer Space with a member of that certain fleet. So... I don't know. They do have the rep, but at least one of them decided not to be a troll and actually play the game.

We already know who most of them will end up being about and they don't need any further press as it is.

It is fine to post stories however I agree that we should further avoid using names. PM people the names if anyone is interested.

I always wondered if naming and shaming deals with just the handle name or the character name as well. After all, there could be a ton of Kirks however there is only one @ISuckatLife. If there is anyone with that handle since it was just meant as an example, then I apologize to that person, but you should seriously think about changing that handle.

easy flame bait there. spell it out to you: its not your place to judge what someone else uses for their handle or their life in general... then the petty stupid things happen like arguing like a married couple before divorce.. really not need that type of thing.

example or no, its also not our place to question what pwe does in its own house as far as its regulations are concerned, we are just customers, nothing more. if you have an issue throw it in a support ticket and see if it gets taken care of, if not then you either live with it or learn to get around it.

One of the biggest loads of bull out there. If the customer is always right, then a customer determines the price of an item not a store, economy, supply/demand, item shortages, or any other factor that determines the price of items. Of course, "we will give the best customer support that we are capable of within reason" is too unwieldy for a slogan.

Life is all about judging. Judging what shows are good, what food tastes good, who you like, etc. Therefore, I can judge what I think about someone's handle, but without the proper authority to back it up, then the only thing I can do is make suggestions. It is up to that person with that handle to follow my suggestion, ignore it, or become confrontational about it. After all, judging is just forming an opinion about something.
