Bug on mission "Weapons of misdirection"

Help....
On the mission "Where angles fear to tread" the sequence "weapons of misdirection" does not complete.
After defeating the borg cube I promoted to leave the system. If I do so the sequence resets and I have to play from the point of boarding of the vessel. Flying about without leaving does not reveal any other things to do.
I am playing a KDF delta recruit charcther.
I have treid the 3 differnt choices that the romuln vessels gives you. ie let it go, teleport the borg tech or refuse to let it go.
The mission tracking is stuck on "go to IRW Aireyenne" uncompleted.

Frustated much....HAs anyoen else had this problem...Does someone know how to overcome it....I have palyed numerous times in the hope that it is a glitch that occurs randomly.

Maybe this was not a bug, but a mission fail if I dont beam the tech aboard???? It did not suggest this was a misson fail. I am sure I attempted this option before...Sorry if it was my error and it was a mission fail.
