Mindscape mission causes server crash

I'm playing the Mindscape mission (the second mission in the Delta Quadrant arc) and after setting course to the Northwest Passage the server crashes - I keep getting the error: "Timed out connecting to GameServer". The next time I try to log in I get the options to do Normal Login and Safe Login, but both leads to the same error. If I wait for a while, I able to login without the server crashing and ends up in sector space, but if I try to continue the mission, the server crashes again. It seems the server doesn't allow me to do this mission. Does anyone have a solution?
I'm playing a KDF tactical officer if it makes any difference.

    Update - I tried to continue the mission today and it worked - the server didn't crash and I wasn't logged out. I don't know what has been done to the game, but the problem seems to be fixed.
