    And Weyoun.

Oh yes.. definitely - even more so than Brunt, but I think it's too early to include Weyoun now - it would fit better to include him once we're getting a Gamma Quadrant/Dominion extension.. hint hint @devs ;) !!

Be great if it was a featured episode where cap. Nog and you have to use the defiant on a mission, after he has a few upgrades made to the ship.....thus the T6 defiant class. I'm very excited to see one of the best characters from DS9 in the game.

    Data says it best: http://www.reactiongifs.com/data-fist-pump/

I love Nog, his character grew massively in terms of, well, character over the course of the series. It's great to know we'll have a little bit of Nog action in-game now, it is certainly overdue.

This is excellent. Nog was brilliant. Can we get Nog's tribal dance from You Are Cordially Invited as an emote (not likely, but a guy can dream!)

Both Brunt and Weyoun were played by Jeffrey Combs (and also the Andorian "Shran" in Enterprise :)).

In the final episode of DS9 Garak killed Weyoun and the female changeling said he was the last one (because Damar led an attack on a cloning facility in an earlier episode, destroying it). Kinda funny how Jeffrey Combs played both Brunt and Weyoun in the series finale.

But it's possible Weyoun had a secret cloning facility somewhere. ;) I actually liked Brunt and Weyoun. 2 of my favorite characters, along with Nog, Rom, Quark, and Odo.

I did have a sneaky feeling for the last few months that eventually we were going to start getting DS9 actors doing voice over work for the game. I'm excited. :D

According to Memory Alpha, somewhere in the novels, Odo managed to clone a new Weyoun to help him interact with remaining Dominion forces. Dunno if I'd call the novels canon, but somehow, the Weyoun line was resurrected.

Yup, I know Combs work and in the novels following the series after "What You Leave Behind", there is a Weyoun 9.. so it's absolutely possible that he's still around.

I also am very happy to see Nog/Eisenberg (Combs and Eisenberg in "Treachery, Faith And The Great River" are just so great - it's my favorite Episode of DS9) and I really hope that many other DS9 characters will follow.. esp. Andrew Robinson (Garak), Ren

Well, it makes sense to get DS9 cast, given the fact that both Ferengi Nar and the Dominion (not as playable faction) are on the horizon to play a role in the war.

Has this been announced somewhere? Or is this mere speculation?

you should read more between the lines; he states: "well, it makes sense" thats not a certainty, thats speculation that he thinks it is right, its not the same as it being right.

already that whole arguement you highlighted is null and void without needing to read further.

My Ferengi, Rear Admiral Daimon Marro, was inspired by Nog to also join Starfleet. Though not as altruistic as Nog, Daimon Marro has succeeded in increasing the stature of his family name and gaining respect from the major Federation worlds.

The first post might be speculation but is oddly specific about Ferenginar maps.

The second one sounds even more certain, here, let me quote it again:
Well, it makes sense to get DS9 cast, given the fact that (...)

Therefore it is save to ask where said "fact" is coming from. A fact is a certainty, not a speculation, I just can't verify the fact, therefore I like to know if I missed some relevant informations, or if the "fact" is just made up and wishful thinking.

Funny that they bring all these people to play the parts they did back on tv. Which is great but it would help if the mission was playable.

Despite the fact that I would love to see one too, who says there will be one? You sound awfully certain about that.

I would love to get Combs in, I love his acting, and Voice Acting (Ratchet in Transformers: Prime).

He would be my favorite Star Trek recurring Actor. Hell, if we could get him to re-record Kirkland that would make so many missions better.

Yes! Combs is fantastic! Would love to see Marc Alaimo as Dukat, but Dukat is dead as far as we know.

It's definitely speculation -- and almost certainly mostly wrong.

It's most likely based on some data that was mined from the game files that show that there was, at least at one point, some work done to put Feringinar on the map, but it's not complete -- and there's not any evidence there are any plans to change that in the foreseeable future. It's just as likely, if not more likely, that it's just the remnants of an abandoned project.

I kinda hope that captain nog is delivered to sto in a buffet so he can be eaten so we don't need any VO's from him. Then he can be one of those zombies crying in pain of remembering what it was like to be eaten alive and none of the trills would ever help him.

There's a Ferenginar space map that was made as part of one of the Undine STFs. I for get the name but I think it's the one where you have to fight the planet killer.

Im just going to hint at this seeing as I can draw no other conclusions at this point.

we know that DS9 Arc will get a rework.
we know that they are going to do it.
    Nog is back.

Precusor for when they rework the DS9 stuff? perhaps?

alternatively he could simply be making an appearence #cusnog :D

You mean they will remove x amount of epiodes compile into 4 episodes and then expect us to be grateful about removal of content in game which is lacking on this front

Very great to have Aron Eisenberg back with Star Trek.

    Welcome aboard, Captain Nog!

My log-in issues with the forum kept me from posting this earlier, but as of now are resolved. Thankfully so.

Glad to have Captain Nog aboard STO. Some things just feel like home and the Feringi who became one of Star Fleets finest is surely welcome. :)

We don't have an official time in a bottle thread, so posting my feedback here:

Aaron was amazing, I loved having Nog in game. I did the mission teamed with a friend who missed an instruction to hide from an enemy patrol and after the fight ended Nog's "just what does keep a low profile mean to you?" Line had us in stitches.

Fun writing and solid voice work.

*raises a toast to Aaron* Cheers Nog can't wait for the next one.

so i ran the mission a few times, i dont agree with nogs mouth or the rushed teeth graphics. also Aron seemed to laugh a bit during his sequence and mentions something outside sequence during the krenim artifact recovery. otherwise a fairly solid performance.

Good mission. Though only issue I have is that when Nog says Chroniton, he says Croni-tron. Though I'll pass it as a Ferengi thing.
