So during the middle of the DR event, I managed to finally snag a D'Kora Marauder from my hoarded lockboxes, and was supremely pleased; this was kind of an STO bucket list item for me, so you can imagine.
To celebrate, I rolled a Ferengi captain, and capitalized on the accelerated XP gain of Delta Recruits to catapult him to the rank needed to use the ship. I was in it by the time I hit the Romulan Arcs.
Needless to say, the ship performs pretty solidly! However, I noticed a few "odds 'n' ends" bugs associated with the ship and with Ferengi themselves that I never really noticed before.
1- Ferengi males have the "sharp" teeth option (as they should); Ferengi females do not however.
2- Ferengi females have a "narrow" eye option (which is great looking); Ferengi males do not.
3- The morphology options are incredibly limited for both genders; it's really hard to give them a wide variety of individual looks with the sliders.
4- The windows on the D'Kora seem to completely disappear if you zoom out from it even the tiniest of bits. I've never seen this happen on any other starship.
5- The Upgrade skin for the D'Kora is very interesting looking, but on certain maps with certain lighting in the background, seems almost indistinguishable from one of the stock skins.
On some personal notes, I'm kind of disappointed we don't get a Ferengi-specific prefix for the ship. Also, the 3-piece D'Kora only effect of the Marauder space set is.... summoning a trader vessel that gives you DOff missions? Even though the bridge of the D'Kora already has a trader that gives you DOff missions? That seems..... redundant. (I'd suggest maybe enabling the assault craft that D'Koras have as the ship-specific effect, but that is just me.)
