Ground Right-Click Auto Fire Broken

Right clicking on weapons fire buttons to highlight them with the green box so that they auto fire at any currently targeted object does not work on the ground any more; old characters that already had auto-fire set still work just fine but any new characters can't use it, right-clicking the fire buttons does nothing. I'm afraid to try turning it off on an old character in case it won't go back on again.

Right-clicking to toggle auto fire for space weapons still works fine however.

I noticed the bug showed up several patches ago but just assumed it would get fixed but it hasn't; as I've just talked a couple of friends to come play STO and we're all making new delta recruit characters this bug has become a major annoyance, do the DEVs even know about this? And can we get an approximate ETA on when it might get fixed?

Thank you.

It's been working for me. Make sure to go back into Option>Control>Autofire and make sure it didn't disable again. This can happen when reloading the game or if your config file gets corrupted. Remember it has to be enabled in options menu before you can right-click the icons to go green on ground.

Ah... you're right... didn't occur to me that the setting might have gotten changed somehow since autofire was still working on characters that had already had it toggled on... odd.

    Thanks!
